A good friend of mine, Lance Corporal John Felix Farias was Killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2011. He was only 20 years old and a great friend and marine. His body was flown in on July 6th, and the community has shown a lot of support. Four Marines lost their lives that day, and made the ultimate sacrifice. I will be attending his funeral today on the 7th. I have just recently found out that the Westboro Baptist Church will be protesting my friends funeral. They have been known to pickett at funerals of fallen soldiers. They show up with signs that read, "Thank god for dead soldiers" and " Thank god for IED's". Obviously this has really pissed me off, and I feel I should confront them. But the constitution protects there freedom of speech. I would love to beat there ass, but probably wouldnt be worth the consequences. What would you do?
Here is the flyer they posted about my friends death
