but I think we got the whole story up front by Nate n Dana… he just fucked up in a VERY difficult process of getting cleared by TRT…. sounds like NJSAC counsel did a good job on this testing

(I like Larry)… but there were no angles to go with here…. THIS NJSAC is on the UP n UP… they did everything correctly…. as per Nate but not his doctor
This is really Nate Marquardt being 1 of the 1st guys to go up front and publicly through this tedious process (rightly so) with a BAD DOCTOR… n Dana getting pissed off… look Dana not every fighter gets involved in the process of what their doctors tells them.. bad shit happens… Marquardt was trying to be fortcoming n fucked up because he got fucked by his doctor…. some guys like to fight n train… n leave everything else up to the hired guys around them.

is whether or not Nate honestly needed to be on anything in the first place. If he was trying to gain an edge with enhancements, well, bad shit could happen to your career if you’re caught. Nate seems like a good guy, but that doesn’t excuse using illegal TFTs CRTs, KGBs, RFGs, and RPGs.

apparently Nate is cleared to be on TRT...
… Nate was up front n went through all legal channels at this specific point in time… the question really comes is….. Is it legal to be way high on TRT during training as long as yr in normal ranges during the week of the fight… the issue is policing it.
Yeah… it’s questionable if Nate should be cleared with his past history of steroids but they did clear him… should he be cleared? … I dont know… should he be kicked out ot the UFC forever?…. I don’t think so.
sounds like it should be stated that any commission doing test should be regulated that you cant be high on your Tes levels a week ahead of time instead of the day before up unitl weighins…
Last time Nate tested with Marquardt vs Miller Nate did things as required….

I believe Nate is an intellient guy. That said, like when he did get this issue cleared in NJ, what did he do differently this time to get busted? The fact his Dr put him on a more “aggressive” treatment. If that’s the case, Nate should of had the brains to say to the UFC/Commision DR’s, is it ok for me to do this? Which he could of done well before the fight. I think is playing the “I didn’t know” or “my Dr said it was ok” card. Just because you have a DR before your name does not mean you are always right. How many Dr’s have we seen lately get busted for PEDs, prescription pills, etc. In Nate’s case, ignorance does not excuse guilt. Taking advice from 1 Dr when you are a pro athlete just doesn’t make any sense. AND he’s at Greg Jackson’s gym which I’m sure have several Dr’s. AND he could of easily asked Dana, other DR’s, etc. to see if this was ok. Almost all pro athletes, no matter the sport, get 2nd n 3rd opinions on anything health related. Once again, ignorance does not excuse guilt.

from what I gathered (i may be wrong) Nate offered the info that he was really high on TRT per doctors recommendation, he was not tested that he was really high earlier in camp?
The problem is Nate did not say he was way over on his TRT levels several or 2 weeks earlier to dana…. otherwise Dana would’ve changed the card or went in with a gameplan… behind closed doors Nate needed to be upfront with Dana just like Sonnen was (im assuming)….Nate fucked up dana’s card n that’s why he’s pissed… Sonnen did not and went through with the fight n almost killed Anderson Silva… BUT Sonnen made one of the best fights in UFC history and didn’t ruin Uncle Dana’s card n $$$…
Dana would rather have u go through the fight way over levels then get busted at the front door… it’s less of a regard for the fighters in the ring and more for his $$$

now, i didnt hear Lembo talking so maybe you can correct me, but the NJSAC had him off of the TRT for purposes of testing him, right up until 3 weeks before the VS fight. this would be well into his training camp (standard 8 week camp) and i dont personally see anything helping him that far into it. maybe with weight cut or whatever but i’m no expert on sports medicine.
As far as him being fired…. i think it was as simple as a mistake on Nate’s part for not putting Dana in the loop with everything so that he could’ve planned ahead and rearranged and what not. Firing is a but much and i dont agree that this is his “4th chance”. dana seems to be getting his events crossed. i would consider the NJSAC and this instance the same thing

WINGBLADE… Nate was required to get off the TRT for a long period of time… AND NATE DID…..Nates doctor recommendend to get back to normal levels to get larger doses than normal’’’ Nate did….n’ went above those levels…
NOW- u can speculate what happened between NAte n’ his DOcTer’…… but it is all speculation… and that’s what Dana did. Dana Speculated…
Dana knows WHOS ON TRT….he tells his fighters what he expects….. and if it somehow fucks up his card… U R OUT OF THE UFC……….if it doesnt fuck up his card n’ $$$$ … then he’ll bring u back in….
