This is a masterful photo taken by Kamil Krzaczynski showcasing the moment directly before Dan Henderson unleashed his big right hand up and under Fedor Emelianenko's shoulders that led to his flash knockout and subsequent stoppage by referee Herb Dean.

The nature of the finish was controversial simply because "The Last Emperor" -- and more than a few fans -- thought Dean could have given the legendary Russian more time to recover.

Whether that's the case or not, it was still one of, if not the, best rounds of the year, perhaps even better than the wild brawl engaged in by Nick Diaz and Paul Daley this past April.

Making this even more meaningful is the fact that it's entirely possible neither Fedor nor Henderson will ever fight inside the hexagon for Strikeforce again.

What a way to go out, huh?
