Championship Fighting Alliance (CFA) 2 took place last night (July 23, 2011) from the U.S. Century Bank Arena in Miami, Florida.

The 12-fight card featured a couple of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veterans in action, as Sean McCorkle headlined the show in his first appearance since his dismissal from the world's largest fight promotion earlier this year.

"Big Sexy" took on extremely late replacement Cameron Befort and dominated the superheavyweight contest, knocking Befort down before locking in a kimura and earning himself a rather easy first-round submission win.

Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 8 winner Efrain Escudero was also on the card taking on Mike Rio in a lightweight tilt that lived up to every expectation. Both fighters delivered with scrappy performances but it was Escudero who would rise to the challenge and earn himself the decision victory.
