Nate Marquardt is reportedly in negotiations to make his first post-UFC appearance on the upcoming Amazon Forest Combat fight card going down on Sept. 14 in Brazil, according to Tatame.com. Royler Gracie and Paulo Filho have already signed on to compete at the event and the promotion is said to also be in talks with UFC veterans Patrick Cote and Marcus Davis.

It’s great having guys from a circuit ive been watching for a few years(CFC and XMMA in Australia) jump up into the UFC – they arte always going to be the dog but if you have seen them fight over and over you can get a bit more of an idea about what they’re like…
I would honestly say Lombard would bring it to Nate and put him right out of his own game. Nate couldnt stand with him and he wouldnt be able to get him down either – Lombard’s a fast and fuckin tough motherfucker!
