I hope not, Jackson has the tools to make this a great fight
But the problem is he doesn’t use all his tools and becomes a one dimensional fighter, I’m hoping he comes in with a better gameplan and uses more of his tools this fight. The big advanatage more than size and skill come in to play though is Jones corner vs Pages corner were swapped………………..well Jackson would probably still be champion if he had the work ethic to train and use Jackson gym.

Yeah he really puts himself in a corner with how he fights since joining the UFC. In the pride days you would see him using big slams, knees and even the rare leg kick…..now as JJ pointed out he’s just like fighting a boxer because that is basically the only skills he uses during a fight. I hope like hell he comes out in the JJ fight throwing headkicks clinching trying to slam a fool or throwing some knees…..it could really throw JJ for a loop if he does imo….and he needs to pull a rabbit out of his hat because JJ has this all day if he does not. Only way I see Page winning this if he catches JJ with one of those big hooks or uppercuts.

I thought he could, but seeing that he is not taking as serious as i thought he might, ill bet against him. I know he does not have to make weight for a while but this to me shows his lack of dedication. I know he always does this but thought or once he might dedicate himself 100% take Bones belt and then retire. Him and BJ could be great if they just trained thier ass off all the time not just part time.

I am a huge Rampage fan! I think him along with BJ have the most talent and fighting spirit out of just about any MMA fighter. Problem I have is that for once I was hoping Page was training from the minute he beat Hammil to try and take out the FUTURE of MMA and ride off in the sunset with the belt. Him walking around at 240 shows me he has not been training his ass off like a GSP. If he was he would be more like 220/225. That was my point.
Same went for Bj fight with GSP
I was hoping he would have trained like he has never trained b4 for that fight. But when they aired the UFC primetime special and seen that he was blowing off workouts, right then I KNEW he would lose to GSP. I have the same feeling looking at this pic. Am I jumping to a conclusion? Maybe. But my gut tells me that he has let himself get out of shape looking at this pic.

… most 205ers walk around between 225 & 250 . Rampage ain’t no little dude . Forrest has walked heavier than that , say like 250 . The bigger guys walk a bit heavier period . Its not that their not working hard , but nobody works as hard as GSP period so thats just a bad example . As long as Rampage doesn’t go to 250 + hes kosher .

Keep watching TUF re-runs to increase your MMA knowledge….there is a difference between having a size advantage and knowing how to use your size advantage to completely wrap your opponents limbs so that they are essentially useless in the ring.

…unless he lands a haymaker and Jones chin doesn’t pass the test it will a short and bloody night for the Wolfslair product. He’s collecting a paycheck now and that’s the bottom line. Actually even the Pride Rampage would get smashed. He typically does not fair well against fighter that posed multiple threats on their feet (ie, Shogun, Vandi, Machida and even Forrest). JBJ is one notch up above those guys. If he thinks training with the Count is going to help him through this wrecking machine he’s got another thing coming.

So even though I’m pulling for Rampage for the first time, I think Jones will win..The only way Jackson wins is if during a Jones’ spinningbackfistflyingdoublekneeflyingtrianglearmbarsupermanpunch, and ’Page slips under and lands one
