As usual, some numbers aren't adding up to the result we saw last night at the UFC on Versus 4: "Kongo vs. Barry" event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This time it's the Rick Story vs. Charlie Brenneman fight, an admittedly close affair that saw the "Spaniard" ride out a unanimous decision win by scores of 29-28 across the board.
But did he truly deserve the win? Based on the ten-point must system, he most certainly did. He was far more effective in his takedowns and positional control as can be evidenced in the grappling report after the jump (via Fight Metric).
And, finally, the performance rating:
What did you think of Story vs. Brenneman? Closer than first glance? Was Brenneman getting a lot of love for spending the majority of the fight on top?
