UFC 132 What's at Stake?
At UFC 132 Dominick Cruz will take on the only man to ever beat him in his Mixed Martial Arts career, former longtime WEC Featherweight champion Urijah Faber. A fight which took place 4 years ago in Cruz's first ever title shot on the mainstage for smaller fighters at the time. Dominick Cruz has since won 8 straight fights including victories over Joseph Benavidez 2x, Brian Bowles and Scott Jorgensen, since defeating Dominick Cruz Urijah Faber has gone 7-3, 3 losses which came from current Featherweight Kingpin Jose Aldo and Mike Thomas Brown twice. Faber made the move down to 135 lbs hoping for success in the BW division after losing a 5 round decision to Jose Aldo in which Aldo utilized superior striking and Takedown defense to solidify himself as one of the top fighters in the world. Faber has gone 2-0 in the BW division against perennial contender Takeya Mizugaki and the always tough Former BW champion Eddie Wineland. The trash talk had begun before the to of them were even scheduled to face each other, both men have stated a serious dislike for each other, which Champion Dominick Cruz says started because of himself not being of the WEC 26 poster, in which he was asked to sign the poster by a fan and signed directly over Faber's face.
Also Schedule bouts are Chris Leben VS Wanderlei Silva, Ryan Bader VS Tito Ortiz, Carlos Condit VS Dong Hyun Kim and Dennis Siver VS Matt Wiman, Which should all produce fireworks.
Dominick Cruz was a young, inexperienced, flashy and unbeaten fighter who had nothing to lose in his fight against Urijah Faber who was battle proven in the featherweight division as one of the best, had nothing to gain with from defeating an unknown Dominick Cruz, Urijah Faber locked in a deep Guillotine choke and finish Cruz in the 1st round easily.
What's At Stake??
Well for Urijah Faber he has to prove he still has what it takes to be at the top of the mountain, or If Urijah Faber loses this fight to Dominick Cruz, What is next for Faber? As long as Aldo is the Kingpin at 145, he may not result to accomplishing his dream of one day becoming the UFC champion. Can he become the UFC BW champion or will Urijah Faber fail to claim gold and the glory he was had in not 1 but 2 weight divisions.
For Dominick Cruz he has to prove that not only can he avenge his loss against Urijah Faber, but go back to being perfect, If Cruz can dominate Urijah Faber for 5 rounds, then the weight of that first loss will be lifted off his shoulders, Or What would another loss to Urijah Faber mean for Cruz, If Cruz loses to Faber twice he'll be in the same position that Joseph Benavidez is against himself. Can Dominick Cruz avenge his only loss to Urijah Faber and remain BW king? Or will Urijah Faber prove to just have Dominick Cruz's number??
Wanderlei Silva VS Chris Leben, Leben coming off of that TKO loss to the All American Brian Stann in a fight where he looked horrible or Wanderlei Silva who hasn't fought since February 21, 2010.
Can Chris Leben come back from that loss to Brian Stann and go for one more shot up the ladder, Or will he get chopped down by the Axe from the Axe Murderer.
Will Wanderlei Silva prove that age is just a number, that this is a new Wanderlei Silva at 185 pounds or will Chris Leben crush all hopes and dreams of Wanderlei Silva making a comeback in his career.
Last February at UFC 126, Ryan Bader suffered his first loss to current UFC lhw Champion Jon Jones, in a fight where Bader was dominated from start to finish. Can Ryan Bader rebound from his first ever loss against the former LHW champion Tito Ortiz? or will Ryan Bader suffer the consequences of calling out a man who may not be done just yet in his career?
Tito Ortiz suffered yet another loss to Matt "The Hammer" Hamill at UFC 121 in October, Tito was scheduled to face Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC Fight Night 24, but Tito Ortiz was forced out of the bout with yet another injury. Can Tito Ortiz prove that he has one last title run in him at UFC 132? Or will Ryan Darth Bader prove that Tito Ortiz is done and doesn't need to be anywhere near a UFC Octagon ever again?
Have at it Maniacs, At UFC 132 What's at Stake for these fighters?

Tito really shouldnt have signed for this fight
He just can’t get an easy opponent. His best chance was hamill at 121, and i thought he had a shot to beat nogueria in march but now, his odds are slim vs. bader.
