"He stood with his lead foot a little bit forward and kept his hands down. He bounced it up and down so we knew we were going to have to come up and over to find that chin and the proof's in the pudding, just watch the tape. Yeah, I saw him and he folded right up and went down and hit the back of his head pretty hard. I had my eyes right onto his eyes and they were kind of, you know, I saw them roll back so I wasn't going to go in and try to do any more damage than was necessary. You know this is a sport to me and I'm not somebody who is trying to hurt anybody. Yves Edwards is a guy I've watched and respected for a long time. He's a good guy, gave me a cookie at the weigh-ins. I'm not going to try to hurt a guy like that."

-- At the UFC 131 post-fight press conference, Sam Stout explains exactly what he saw in Yves Edwards game that allowed him to wind up and land a monster left hand that put the veteran flat on his ass. The "Master of Thugjitsu's" head did the old double tap on the mat after eating a one-hitter quitter courtesy of "Hands of Stone." If there's any good to come of the "vicious" knockout, as Dana White referred to it, it's that Stout took the high road and didn't follow up his incredible punch with any ground and pound on a supine and lifeless Edwards. Those title hopes the journeyman had? Yeah, those are gone now. But things are only looking up for the 27-year-old Stout, who now boasts four fight night bonuses awards in his last five fights (4-1). That's basically a one way ticket to the top of the card and a straight shot up the lightweight ladder. Care to play matchmaker and find an opponent for the Canadian ass-kicker?
