"Who I really want to fight is Sam Stout. We were talking about... he'll throw down. That would be fun. Sam's a great dude, just knocked out Yves, looked awesome. That would be a fight I'd like, that would be awesome."
-- Donald Cerrone talks to Ariel Helwani after his impressive showing at the UFC 131: "Dos Santos vs. Carwin" event last night (June 11, 2011) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and calls out Sam Stout, who was also in action on the card. "Cowboy" cruised past late replacement and Octagon debutant Vagner Rocha, while "Hands of Stone" knocked out journeyman Yves Edwards with a left hand so devastating that Dana White referred to it as "one of the most vicious knockouts in UFC history." With their respective victories, Cerrone has now won four straight, while Stout has come away victorious in four of his last five bouts, with four fight night bonus awards during that span. Considering the propensity of both fighters to get inside the cage and scrap, there's no question it would be an entertaining affair but is the demand for it there? Whaddaya say, Maniacs, are you up for it? Or do you have a better option in mind for both guys?
