"I thought he was going to defeat Randy Couture. It really was a beautiful kick, but I knew he'd win. Lyoto absolutely is a guy I might have to fight again someday, and I believe I will. I don't know when, but it'll happen. Of course I'll want to beat him, but we're professionals. He's great character, he has a good heart, so he's a guy I admire a lot."
-- What you thought this thing was over? It's never over. Not according to Mauricio Rua, who tells Tatame he fully expects a rubber match against fellow Brazilian Lyoto Machida. The two former champions initially met back in Oct. 2009, a five-round war that went to a the not-so-trustworthy judges who awarded "The Dragon" the unanimous decision victory. "Shogun" got his revenge seven months later by knocking out the Karate master in the first round of their rematch. How would a third fight play out, if and when it ever came to be? Any Maniacs out there clamoring for it?
