Antoni Hardonk has retired from mixed martial arts competition. The Dutch heavyweight, who finishes his career with an 8-6 MMA record and a 5-5 record as a kickboxer, has decided to focus his efforts on coaching instead of competing.
When asked about his decision, Hardonk had this to say: "Taking that year off and focusing more on that other side and that teaching and coaching aspect of myself, I found that I get as much satisfaction from that as from fighting itself."

Agreed
Wouldn’t buy the PPV for him, but was always happy when he was on.

I bet he could be a good kickboxing coach
Nasty leg kicks that one.
Dear audio diary: Today I may have accidentally registered myself as a sex offender! WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY LIFE

He's a good guy and good fighter.

Good guy
Met him (briefly) at ufc 80 in my hometown (Newcastle… btw Dana you need to come back and see us geordies!!), really good guy. V humble. Absolutely massive, I’m 6ft2 and about 14st, but this guy towered above me. Anyway, all the best Antoni.
nice to see another geordie on here mate!
Couldn’t agree more with the need for a UFC return. I was at UFC 80 too. Last time we’ll ever see a title fight on these shores?
Resist Much, Obey Little.
Perhaps a little unfair, the dude was game and undoubetdly had some skills. just because youre not a title challenger doesnt mean your not nails
Well he's about being mistaken.

the name's a little too complicated for ya eh buddy?
try reading only the capital letters, and each word is separated by the period. I.AM.miSTAKen would therefore be “I am stak”
oh shit it has nothing to do with being mistaken. derp your joke is a failure.

oh i thought he already retired
I really like Antoni Hardonk, always exciting. Good for him that he finds out now that he is better suited to teach. Instead of taking a couple of not needed KO’s
