Shane Carwin has been hitting the gym -- hard -- in advance of his UFC 131 bout against Jon Olav Einemo on June 11. According to the big man's Twitter, he's currently walking around at a slimmed down 254-pounds.
"The Engineer" hasn't weighed in for a UFC fight at a weight that low since his promotional debut back in May 2008.

That is somewhat true.
There are Lightweights with better gas tanks than bantamweights etc etc. And I don’t think Carwin has a big cardio issue. I think he had an adrenaline dump and he lost his composure trying to finish the fight. 10 out of 10 guys would be tired after the scramble he put on Brock with all the adrenalin going through him.
Shogun Rua, still only 1 quality win in the UFC and I don't want to hear any garbage excuses about his knee. That is all.

i dont do sig bets! i actually find them too be pretty gay. not knocking those of you who enjoy it, but its just not my sort of thing.

Yes the leg is still a major question but I think Jon taps him. i would wager Einemo comes out striking better out the gate too. Shane packs big power but the lack of cardio will be his end again. For all intensive purposes, shane still has not fought longer than 1 rd and his competition level that he’s beaten isnt a collection of highly skilled fighters.
