"Cop" out: Despite the UFC taking the rap for gay-bashing following UFC 115 back in June 2010, the promotion "has turned down the Vancover Police Department's request to pay for extra policing around Rogers Arena on the night of UFC 131," according to MMA Fighting. UFC Canada's director of operations Tom Wright tells the city the event will be no different and perhaps even safer than any other concert or show held at the Rogers Arena, Canucks included.
