BJ Penn explains the shoulder injury that forced him to withdraw from UFC 132 (Video)

"What's up, BJPenn.com; I just want to check in real quick. A lot of people asking me about UFC 132. I guess, basically, here's the story: I hurt my shoulder before the Jon Fitch fight, real bad. Of course, pushing my shoulder really hard during the Jon Fitch fight hurt my shoulder more. I came back, I tried to train but every time I would train hard, it would just get really inflammed, I couldn't even move it. Did an MRI -- I want to keep some of that information confidential, here we are. We're going to see what happens. I need about six to eight weeks to take it easy on my shoulder, let it rest. I don't know, if Jon Fitch is ready, we can do it and we can do it soon or take a new opponent. So we're keeping in touch with the UFC and thanks for being on BJPenn.com."
