Strikeforce weigh in results live from San Diego for 'Diaz vs Daley'


The official weigh-in event for Strikeforce: "Diaz vs. Daley" took place today (Friday, April 8, 2011) at the Crowne Plaza San Diego in San Diego, California.

The first fighter tipped the scale at 5 p.m. PT.

All twenty fighters competing at the event tomorrow night successfully made weight.

Leading the charge back to San Diego will be welterweight champion Nick Diaz, as he puts his 170-pound title on the line against powerful British striker Paul "Semtex" Daley.

Also putting his title on the line is 155-pound champion Gilbert Melendez as he defends the lightweight strap in a rematch against dangerous Japanese powerhouse Tatsuya "Crusher" Kawajiri.

170 lbs.: Nick Diaz (169.75) vs. Paul Daley (169.5)
