Strikeforce payouts and salaries for 'Wilcox vs Damm' event fighters on April 1

Strikeforce fighter payouts for those who competed at the "Wilcox vs. Damm" event this past Friday night (April 1, 2011) from the Stockton Arena in Stockton were released earlier today by the California State Athletic Commission.

Main event participants Justin Wilcox and Rodrigo Damm accounted for the lion's share of the total event payroll, combining to pocket nearly half of it ($31,000) for their lightweight tussle, which lasted just five minutes.

Caros Fedor, who finished David Douglas in the co-featured fight of the night, was the third highest breadwinner on the evening, taking in $10,000 for his winning performance.

Justin Wilcox: $16,000 ($8,000 to show, $8,000 to win)
Rodrigo Damm: $15,000
Wilcox defeated Rodrigo Damm via technical knockout (doctor's stoppage) in round one

Caros Fodor $10,000 ($5,000 to show, $5,000 to win)
David Douglas: $2,500
Fodor defeated Douglas via technical knockout in round three

Lorenz Larkin $4,000 ($2,000 to show, $2,000 to win)
Scott Lighty: $2,000
Larkin defeated Lighty via knockout in round two

James Terry:  $6,000 ($3,000 to show, $3,000 to win)
Josh Thornburg: $2,000
Terry defeated Thornburg via knockout in round one

Damion Douglas:  $2,000 ($1,000 to show, $1,000 to win)
Wayne Phillips: $1,000
Douglas defeated Phillips via split decision

Anthony Avila:  $1,000
Rafael Rios: $1,000
Avila defeated Rios via unanimous decision

Robert Escalante:  $1,000
Raul Sandoval: $1,000
Escalante defeated Sandoval via submission (armbar) in round one

Tristan Arenal:  $1,000
Tom Peterson: $1,000
Arenal defeated Peterson via submission (armbar) in round one

Ronald Carillo:  $1,000
Adam Antolin: $1,000
Carillo defeated Antolin via submission (rear naked choke) in round one

The total disclosed payroll for Strikeforce: "Wilcox vs. Damm" was $68,500.

Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments. It also does not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.
