Pat Miletich vs Roy Jones Jr MMA fight in the works? (Video)
Maybe Jones Jr. got tired of waiting around for that Anderson Silva fight to materialize.
"Every person's life has seasons. I'm a fighter; I still may fight, actually. Roy Jones Jr and I talk everyday, no, actually every week, about fighting each other and we've got some interested parties in that.
"We'd love to fight. It'd be a lot of fun. Two guys that ... I feel like he'll beat at least half of the guys in the top 10.
"Of course (it would be a mixed martial arts fight). Roy can get down, Roy can get down. No, Roy and I talk, honestly, once every couple weeks or whatever, once a month, at least, and we talk about fighting and making it happen and there are several interested parties and it would be a lot of fun."

"Gold medals aren't really made of gold.
They're made of sweat, determination,
and a hard-to-find alloy called guts"
LOL
thinking the same thing…everyday, no wait, once a week, no wait, once every other week, no wait, once a month, no wait, I stood in line at a fan expo with Roy and told him how great it would be to put together a MMA fight with him. Once he did some research and learned who I was, his secretary’s secretary called me back. IT’s ON!!!
100% Drunk
LOL I love Pat and respect him but hes never incoherent at any time.. From the functions were a few brews were in hand he would get like this lol.

I've always said this about Roy Jones Jr and Tyson
If these guys saw the money they would have loved MMA. Let’s for example say you took Tyson right after his title loss and put him in a good 12-16 week camp he would have beaten alot of guys. In my humble opinion he would have easily been a force in Pride FC due toe to the ability to rop-a-dope and use the angles of a squared ring.

We talk every day. We talk once a week. We talk at least once a month. One time, at band camp, I talked to RJJ.
Not since Hulk Hogan vs Roddy Roddy Piper has the Term Age in the Cage fit so appropriately.
I've got something to say; it better to burn out than to fade away!!!
Wandy, Hendo, Vitor and Chael; the Berlin Wall of the Middle Weight top 10. Spitting, sensitive, sandy Brits (MB) need not apply.
Nerdsole Wars; X Box 4 life.
Jones would almost certainly want this fight over Silva
He’d at least have the speed advantage over ‘Tich, which he wouldn’t have over Spider. ‘Tich will almost certainly pound/sub him on the ground like Couture did, but that’s better than getting clowned on your feet in your own discipline.

Are you drunk too??
Clearly you had a few this morning along with Pat. RJJ has some of the fastest hands boxing has ever seen, especially in the weight class he was in. The reach is all that would give him a problem. A boxing match between the two of them only ends one way, RJJ dancing over Silva. MMA different story. To say he’d get clowned on his feet in his own discipline is about as stupid as it gets.

he had
some of the fastest hands and head movement. He’s 42 and has lost 6 out of his last 11 including two in a row, including to an even older Bernard Hopkins in an ugly fight. His speed has slowed tremendously and Anderson would kickbox the ever loving shit out of him.

Hopkins is the best lhw in the world in boxing.
He just fought unbeaten and widely considered the best lhw in the world Jean pascal to a draw in quabec Canada, (pascals home city/ country). For Roy to lose a decision to Hopkins doesn’t mean he is completly done, he can still beat 98% of the people on the planet. He’s just not as good as he once was going unbeaten in 10 years like in the 90’s

Roy is done as hell.
You must not follow boxing that much.
RJJ is the super athlete who got old.
B Hop is the try hard guy with flawless technique, that’s why he can still be a champ at his older age.
Learn JiuJitsu, it's fun.

Did anyone see Roy Jones Jr vs Danny Green?
KO in 2 minutes of first round….
please look and then all you AS haters tell me AS wouldnt school him on the standup with kicks involved as well…
Anyone who has seen any of Jones’ last fights will see he’s done for…
Who the fuck would bet against Jones?!
Pro sig bet record: 1-0-0
Ha!
Sounds like Pat spoke to RJJ twice in the last three years and is trying to make it sound like more.
Let me get this straight....
Roy Jones Jr and I talk everyday
no, actually every week
Roy and I talk, honestly, once every couple weeks or whatever
once a month, at least
Learn JiuJitsu, it's fun.
I thought Pat saying he could beat 5 of the top 10 was funny.
Pat wouldnt even hang with 5 of the top 50 now a days. He is too old, too slow and never as good as he thought he was. I am an old school fan. I watched Pat, he was a warrior. He fought with heart, pride and grit. He would get schooled by RJJ and nearly everyone on both the UFC and Strikeforces roster in his weight class.
