Report: Gina Carano leaves Xtreme Couture for Greg Jackson's MMA

While certain members of Xtreme Couture were gushing over former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and how exceptional he looks, the world-renowned gym was losing one of its most recognizable stars.

That's because Gina Carano has picked up and skipped town for the greener pastures of Greg Jackson's MMA in New Mexico, according to a report from FiveKnuckles.com.

There is no word yet on what caused "The Face of Women's MMA" to leave her longtime home in Las Vegas.

Carano seemingly lost her "Conviction" for competing in the cage when she was dispatched by Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos all the way back in Aug. 2009. She's spent her time since then working in film, having recently begun putting the finishing touches on her upcoming movie "Haywire."

She is tentatively scheduled to make her long-awaited return to action on June 18 when Strikeforce invades the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.
