Rashad Evans odds against Phil Davis: Who opened at -105 for UFC 133?

Stay connected for news and updates

According to our fiscal friends over at BetUS.com, it's UFC light heavyweight prospect turned contender Phil Davis, who is the -105 underdog heading into his reworked UFC 133 main event against the recently demoted division number one contender Rashad Evans.

"Suga" stands as the favorite at -135.

Anyone ready to open their wallets? Or do you expect the lines to shift dramatically as we get closer to fight night?

Evans was originally booked to throw leather against former friend and training partner Jon Jones; however "Bones" elected to go under the knife to repair an old hand injury in lieu of defending his title against Rashad later this year.

Instead, the former champion will have to put his number one contender status on the line against "Mr. Wonderful."

Davis is fresh on the heels of a unanimous decision victory over grizzled veteran Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. The fast-rising contender was on the slow-build prospect track until Jones's injury opened an opportunity he just couldn't pass up.

But will it backfire when he faces his toughest test to date?

Let the hype begin.
