Just put the "JBJ" bat-signal in the sky and "Bonesman" will appear.
UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, who recently helped thwart a robbery attempt mere hours before dismantling "Shogun" Rua to win the 205-pound strap, is back in the news for being a good Samaritan.
Apparently, Jones, while on a business trip to Florida, overheard a young woman, who was with her child, in the midst of an argument with her boyfriend. The man left the two to fend for themselves in South Beach with only an airline ticket ... for a flight that didn't take off for two whole days.
Upon hearing this, the UFC champ offered to assist the damsel in distress, paying for her and her child to stay in a hotel room for a couple days until they could fly back home.
What a swell guy.
At least this time, Jones didn't have a fight a few hours later. He will put his light heavyweight title on the line against former teammate and training partner "Suga" Rashad Evans later this year.
