Octa-gone: Old faces and products of the UFC

I have a very steep collection of the old UFC's as i am sure many of you Mainiacs do as well. I am starting a new little series of old faces, products, contests and other tidbits from the UFC.

The UFC and it's rise of sponsorsships

Let's take a look at the UFC's foray in to the music department

Ah yes, Ultimate Beatdown Vol.1

Can't you still remmeber the commercial when putting on your favorite UFC from the year of 2004?

The UFC and Zuffa were starting their dive into the marketing that SEG never did for the UFC. The sport was now becoming an enterprise and the UFC was attempting mainstream.

The Fertita's are no starnger to money and this was a shot at making some huge dough......or so they thought.

The one thing the UFC did get from the CD was their theme song, "Face the Pain' by Stemm. A relative unknown alongside acts like Hatbreed, Sepultura and Fear factory emerged with the best track. A metal/hardcore act from Buffalo, NY that's one many awards for the local Buffalo scene have never and may never be known.

American Head Charge and Scars of Life were also helped by the cross branding. Chuck Liddell even used American Head Charger's hit 'Loyalty' as his walk out song for a fight.

Scars of Life were featured on a video for Tim Sylvia's eventual heavyweight title win against Ricco Rodriguez.

You would really have to dig deep or at least search to even find out who does the UFC opening theme song.

In case you still wonder what the hell LSC is talking about here is a video to show you!

By the way, would anyone even suggest this change to anything?

Well, Maniacs lets make this short and sweet!. Take care and if you bought this horrible idea please share any stories or feelings.
