Good fight Nick! but
if a fighter like Daley is giving you any kind of problems, then you’re screwed when you return to the UFC, buddy! Diego’s got your number, and it’s not an area code (209) that represents one of the ugliest, shittiest areas in California. About to hit a brick wall, little Nicky!
209 can suck my cock!!!!
As a stand up fighter Diaz is awsome but this is MMA and his weakness vs wrestlers is something he has to prove he can handle
Let’s see Diaz vs Diego again and see how far he really has come.

Good call
They’ve both had a shit load of experience at this point. Would be fun.

hard to say. Diego is a beast sometimes, then he just seems likes he’s not into it.

Ya, I believe that the
merging of the companies will happen sooner than people think. Just like with Pride, I think that Strike force will become absorbed within the next year. After that, we can see all the fights that we’ve been waiting to see.
Damn, Coker was a little…uppity? Maybe all the shit he’s caught for “selling out” has him on edge or something, but he looked to be eager to pick a fight in this interview.

It's obvious Japanese fighters tend not to do well when coming over here...
why can’t Coker admit that? Sure, Aoki looked good against Beerbohm, but Aoki was a heavy favourite. He got dominated by Melendez and so did Kawajiri. And just look at the UFC, Japanese fighters just dont do well at all. There are only 2 I can think of who are doing well : Okami and Stun Gun.
Fighting solves everything.
he's not going to admit that.
1) it’s not politically correct (even though i think it is true too) but more importantly
2) he’s been doing business with Japanese promotions for a while now. He’s not going to piss them off and broadcast to the world that the japanese fighters suck.
To be fair all he has to do is continue feeding the Japanese fighters to Gil to broadcast to the world that they suck
He’s made their 2 top LWs look like amateurs and no amount of PC rhetoric or shady answers can cover that up.

Open to pic/sig bets on Aldo/Hominick, Machida/Couture and Diaz/MacDonald
I've got Aldo, Lyoto and Nate (of course)
but aoki tapped my boy alverez, who is as good if not better then melendez in like 2 minutes!
people like to hate on japanese fighters….i think its unfair criticism. American rules cater to wrestlers, which is usually japanese fighters weakness…japanese rules cater to martial artists, and they tend to be really competitve against upper echelone american fighters when the fight takes place in japan.
Melendez is a beast who just beat the liv ing shit out of kawajiri, but trust me when i tell you, that the bone crusher could do well against many top UFC LWs.
Styles make fights. Aoki and kawajirir are elite, and would do well against most 155ers…just so happens that melendez is a beast and beat the shit out of them…that doesnt mean, they arent top fighters|
Stun Gun is Korean, isn't he?
Or is he a toyota living in Korea?

Stun Gun's Korean
And the reason that him and Okami have done well in the UFC is because unlike the majority of their compatriots they cut weight so they are actually big for their division. The other Japanese and Korean fighters are way too small for their divisions, so they get outmuscled by bigger, stronger fighters. Why so many of them still don’t cut weight is beyond me.

cuase stun gun and okami are well versed in wretsling and its culture of cutting weight.
guys like aoki, and kawajiri…have more traditional martial arts, samurai warrior mentality which is about just man up, and go into battle regardless of size and weight…..proof of that is aoki. he has no business fighting at lw, yet he even occasionally goes up and fights at welterweight…when in actuality he should be cutting down to feather or bantamweight…i gotta give the man props for saying fuck size, i will fight anyone. I like that shit! even if he isnt succesful, it shows more martial arts spirit to me, then a wrestler like gsp who fights safe, and wont challenge himself at middleweight.
Coker's looking for a female fighter with less than 3 fights experience and hasn't fought in over 2 years to fight June 18th
Fighting solves everything.
That is what I hate about Strikecorce matchmaking...
they announce a “big name” is fighting on “this date”, but have no opponent yet. Yeah, no opponent because they have to search & search for a undersized, underskilled, undertrained, weaker opponent. Even Dan Henderson gotta play this godamn waiting game. C’mon you telling me that Fedor still has Strileforce by the nuts & again re-negotiating his contract after 2 straight losses? They need to FORCE Fedor to make a decision like others(in a few days). They need to say “we have June 18th vs Dan Henderson open and we NEED an answer in 5 days or there will not be another opening for a few months”. That will force M-1 & them to quit playing the lets make another milion dolar deal.
Maybe they're trying to get that Cuddles girl back
If she’s recovered from that beatdown Cyborg gave her. At least the rest of the card will be good though, hopefully Gina doesn’t take too much time in her comeback.

I like Scott Soker & think he's a really good guy...
But, he is gonna be heartbroken & on the verge of tears when Strikeforce starts falling apart & the UFC starts taking all the best fighters when theri contracts are up. You can tell how proud Scott is of his baby. He is gonna be in for a real shock when the UFC stops playing nice & eats up & spits out the carcass of Strikeforce.
yeah because he doesn't know that already

Great inout
Where did you come up with that intellectual trolljob. Cant wait to see what you say next
if you think scott coker doesn't already know what's going to happen
then you’re more naive than you paint coker to be
"Live fast, die." ~ GG Allin
if you think that those 3 months of negotiations didn't have something to do with his and his staff's job security,
or favorable severence packages, then you are clearly underestimating Coker’s business skills. He may have not built the kind of empire that Zuffa has but you can bet your ass that he didn’t give it up without securing his future whether that come by a job with a long contract or a nice payout.

I thought its was a BS stopage.
Until they docs picked him up and he still couldn’t stand and almost feel over.
Exactly the same for me.
And that goes to show that Big John is actually a pretty good ref. Had I been the ref, I would have let the fight go on and Daley might have gotten hurt even worse.
Anybody who claims it was a bad stoppage, needs to look at how Daley reacted afterward. He didn’t know what was going on and couldn’t keep himself up.
If I were the ref
I would’ve said “let’s get it on” and then when Daley came to the center I woulv’ve punched him in the dick. Then me and Nick would jump him and steal his wallett and take those pounds and trade them for something far less valuable- the US dollar
