Props: Fighters Only
Quoteworthy:
"Rashad got injured which is a shame but they are similar and I will continue to train with the same strategy, which is to focus on striking and wrestling. I think they are both tough fighters and the only difference is their body types. They are both tough guys, Rashad has one loss but other than that they are very similar."
Rashad Evans is out and Jon Jones is in -- not that it makes much difference to light heavyweight champion Mauricio Rua, who defends his 205-pound strap against "Bones" at UFC 128 on March 19 in Newark. "Shogun" believes Evans and Jones, in addition to being training partners, are similiar fighters offensively and as such, he plans to stick with his original strategy for his trip to "The Garden State." Is this a rare tactical error by the Brazilian? Or the correct gameplan considering the short notice change? Opinions please.
