Sean McCorkle vs. Christian Morecraft, Michael McDonald vs. Edwin Figueroa and John Hathaway vs. Kris McCray is the trio of bouts fight fans will also get to enjoy.
McCorkle made a name for himself in LOF, going 7-0 with the independent promotion. "Big Sexy" made his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut back in September a successful one as McCorkle earned a first round submission victory over Pride FC and K-1 veteran Mark Hunt.
The proud keyboard warrior took a big step up in competition when he met Stefan Struve at UFC 124. Not only was it his first bout outside of the United States, it was also McCorkle's first fight outside of Indianapolis. "Big Sexy" suffered a TKO loss, the first blemish on his record.
Morecraft was on a roll in his CFX run. The Cape Cod Fighting Alliance heavyweight went 3-0 with the promotion, finishing all of his fights. He defeated Lee Beane to capture the CFX heavyweight title; a performance that likely earned him a UFC contract.
The husky heavyweight debuted at UFC 117 against the previously mentioned Struve. Morecraft dominated the first round and many believe Struve was on the verge of an upset TKO loss. It was not meant to be however, as the "Skyscraper" would come back to knock him out in the second round.
Who will get the better of this heavyweight scrap?
Michael McDonald was initially set to take on Nick Pace but an injury in training forced the latter to pull out of the contest to be replaced by promotional newcomer Edwin Figueroa.
Hathaway is coming off his first loss, to Mike Pyle at UFC 120. That is the lone blemish of his career. Before that, he had an impressive victory over Diego Sanchez, that put him on the welterweight map.
McCray is coming off two losses of his own and is in dire need of a victory to retain gainful employment with the world's largest fight promotion. . He lost to Court McGee in The Ultimate Finale and then to Carlos Rocha via first round knee bar.
Can he save his job?
