With season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) set to debut on March 30 on Spike TV, the media push is underway to help promote the show, which features heavy hitting heavyweights Junior dos Santos and Brock Lesnar as coaches.
Lesnar will do his part by appearing on "Late Night" with Jimmy Fallon on Monday, March 28, 2011, alongside David Schwimmer, Jeff Musial and musical guest Vanilla Fudge.
Quite the line-up of superstars. Rather fitting, as well.
Brock will be discussing his career as well as the upcoming season of TUF, according to UFC.com.
Lesnar isn't the only UFC fighter appearing on late night NBC television, as Jon Jones, fresh off his light heavyweight title winning performance at UFC 128, will appear on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno on Thursday, March 24, 2011.
Does this mean "Bones" is bigger (figuratively speaking) than "The Brockness Monster?"
Maybe, maybe not. Either way, it's good news for the UFC to have two of their biggest stars on late night programming, promoting their product.
TUF 13 kicks off next Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at its new start time of 9 p.m. ET on Spike TV. The two men coaching the welterweight hopefuls, Brock Lesnar and Junior dos Santos, will meet at the conclusion of the show at UFC 131 in Vancouver on June 11, 2011.
