The Fans Interview Fighters expansion continues with the introduction of our brand new Aussie contingent, fellow Maniac scarnon! Scarnon is wasting no time and has decided to jump straight into the deep-end for his first interview with non other than George Sotiropoulos. Lets see what our man from down under has to say about George S.
Standout Aussie fighter, George Sotiriopoulos, 14 - 3 – 0 (7-1 UFC) has recently made a convincing run in the UFC LW division until his streak was snapped by stand-up superstar Dennis Siver 18 - 7 – 0 (7-4 UFC). Coming off the back of this loss his next fight is slated to be Extreme Couture’s Evan Dunham 11 - 2 – 0(4-2 UFC) at UFC 132. Coming off his first loss in the UFC, and meeting Dunham on a 2 fight losing streak – also the first losses of his pro career, what are we to expect from this war of submission experts(Dunham 6 subs, G Sot 8 subs)? I for one want to know how George feels after not being able to take his last fight where he wants it, on the mat, and what has he picked up in training since to ensure he gets the next fight where he wants. Or does he even want to take Dunham down? What's the story with his recent stand-up wars against good stand-up guys? Is this the name of the game heading into Evan Dunham or is it going to be a battle of the subs?
Scarnon will be interviewing Geroge next week so don't hesitate to get your questions in and welcome Scarnon to the Fans interview Fighters series.
I received word from OJR last night that the Lyle Beerbohm interview is fully transcribed and we will publish it any day now after the final touches have been added. Thanks as always for your questions and help everybody, and special thanks to THORAZINE for the loaning of his recording equipment.
As always if you've read this far I beg of you to please post your comment in the form of a question to save
me scarnon time on editing. Please do not put half the question in the title of your comment and the other half in the body. Put the whole question in the body of the comment.
