Jon Jones on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' this Thursday (March 24) on NBC
UFC light heavyweight champion, New Jersey crime fighter, Tonight Show guest.
Those are just a few of the roles for 205-pound fight phenom Jon Jones, who next week will probably disarm the nukes in North Korea before heading to Libya to enforce the No-Fly Zone.
This Thursday night however, he'll join Kirstie Alley and Peter, Bjorn and John (and Jon) as just the third UFC fighter to ever appear on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
From UFC President Dana White:
Congrats @jonnybones 1st UFC fighter to do the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The hits keep on coming!!!! Tune in thur on NBC!
"Bones" completed his journey to MMA superstardom by dethroning Mauricio "Shogun" Rua last Saturday night (March 19) at UFC 128 in Newark.
A few hours before the fight, Jones helped his coaches from Jackson's MMA apprehend a burglar on foot at a nearby park in Paterson, NJ.
Any guess as to what Leno will ask him about on March 24? (duh)
Stay tuned.

Get off of the Tonight Show and go over with Team Coco, though if Shad talked to Connan first he would be butt hurt that you talked to him as well.
Shogun Rua, still only 1 quality win in the UFC and I don't want to hear any garbage excuses about his knee. That is all.
Wow, am kinda surprised....our fringe sport is finally getting some minimal clout.
They’re probably gonna do something retarded like have him put someone in an RNC or dumb shit like that. Then talk about the robber.

If the round is too close, it's 10-10, NOT flip a coin 10-9 or late takedown FTW.

You know how Mir said it would be able to choke Brock because he has no neck? Probably harder to choke a guy who can guard his neck to mid chest just by tucking his chin.
You’re probably right though

my ears a bleeding the amount of times i have heard that name now
LJ was right! I should have known that having the same pick as John G. and danago was a mistake. Jon Jones is the greatest LHW on the planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was bound to happen and it did.

yea but my question to you guys is this..
jon jones looks unbeatable..who do you guys think has the best chance of beating him? andy, gsp, fedor, shad? or cain? or maybe machida..machida has a great elusive style, hard to take down..shad is quick and familiar with jones..randy is a good game planner..
i see what you did there
Its good for the sport in terms of free marketing and it is good for Jones,
I really don’t get all the hate. Its not like he is out there flipping off the crowd and mocking injured opponents after a fight.

well hella.....it will be the guy with the best cardio who can solve the reach problem and defend the GNP attacks
Andy: No couldn’t defend the GnP adequately enough to win on points
GSP: No the size differential would be too much for Rush
Fedor: No he is no longer Fedor
Shad: Not well rounded enough to take on Jones’s full arsenal, chin is suspect also
Cain: Yes, Cain will take the punishment and then deliver his own, Cain takes it in the cardio department as well.

Andy MIGHT be able to sub him though
And has the best punchers chance out of any potential opponents as well.
Jones is young and very susceptible to making a mistake that Silva is all too good at capitalizing on.
