For fans of mixed martial arts, this past weekend was about as good as it gets.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to pay-per-view last Saturday night (March 19) with UFC 128: "Shogun vs. Jones" and featured the genesis of "Bonesmania" after 205-pound phenom Jon Jones ripped the light heavyweight strap from the listless fingers of Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
But that's not all.
Former WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber made his Octagon debut with a convincing unanimous decision win over the scrappy Eddie Wineland while Brendan Schaub climbed another notch in the heavyweight rankings by airmailing Mirko Cro Cop back to Croatia.
And what else is there to say about the rise of Jim Miller? Might be time to give this guy his shot.
In cased you missed any or all of it — or just want to keep the discussion alive — below are links to all the major storylines borne from Saturday night's mega-event.
