Anderson Silva's agent makes clear superfight versus Georges Saint Pierre is up to the welterweight champion

"Anderson has proven he's the best fighter and he handles it quite good. It's a complicated fight for GSP… it's a pretty bad fight for him. Anderson has this biotype, he loses weight easily, he can make any weight, so I believe a catchweight [bout] would be perfect for GSP, and Anderson wouldn't have problems with that. Actually who would have a problem would be Saint Pierre because Anderson can lose that weight easily and, at the day of the fight, he'd be on his usual weight, so I believe it's complicated for Georges St-Pierre."

According to Jorge Guimaraes, Spider's manager, Anderson Silva is prepared to fight Georges Saint Pierre at a catchweight. This is an awesome statement since the welterweight champion has claimed about the size difference between the contenders and left the bout in doubt to happen in the future. Guimaraes made it clear the superfight is up to the Canadian hero - that has ever gone up to middleweight division to test himself - while Anderson has beaten up James Irvin and Forrest Griffin the two times he surfed on light heavyweight waves. What comes from St-Pierre now: an affirmative answer to face Silva or something like, "I'm focused on my next challenge versus Jake Shields"? Sound off.
