If Donald Cerrone and Danny Castillo haven't convinced you that WEC lightweights are as tough (or tougher) than their UFC siblings, then Kamal Shalorus wants to send you a little message on Saturday night.

The undefeated wrestler will make his Octagon debut against top lightweight contender Jim Miller at UFC 128: "Shogun vs. Jones" on March 19 from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

And a win over Miller would not only keep his perfect record intact, it would likely vault him up the 155-pound rankings as the New Jersey native is widely considered to be one or two fights away from challenging for the division title.

No problem, according to "The Prince of Persia," who tells Heavy.com that fans should "expect" him to win:

"I miss the WEC. I loved the WEC. Of course they are the same organization, like brother and sister. On the other hand, it’s a big opportunity for me to show my skills in the UFC. Jim Miller is a very good fighter.I want to show the UFC and prove WEC fighters and Kamal Shalorus (are) tough, too. (Expect) a victory. I’m 100-percent ready, mentally, physically, and am so excited for this fight. I fight from my heart. The fans are going to love it. We are going to have a war between me and Jim Miller."

Is the Iranian-born Brit biting off more than he can chew?

Miller is 8-1 inside the Octagon and 19-2 overall. His only two losses were decisions to Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard, two guys that are among the world's best.

Shalorus wants to prove he is indeed "World Class" on Saturday night -- can he get it done?

Let's hear your pick!
