NY State Assemblyman Bob Reilly featured on tonight's (Feb. 7) presentation of Pro MMA Radio

New York State Assemblyman Bob Reilly, identified as the chief opponent to the legalization of mixed martial arts (MMA) in the "Empire State," is coming to Pro MMA Radio TONIGHT (Feb.7) at 9 p.m. ET right here on MMAmania.com.

Assemblyman Reilly sat down with host Larry Pepe for the self-admitted longest interview he’s ever done on the subject as the two engaged in a spirited debate of all the issues pertaining to the legalization of MMA in New York.

Safety, the encouragement of violent behavior, MMA’s rules and regulations as well as a host of economic and political issues that may be influencing the issue were all dealt with in a 60-minute debate that saw some surprises and facts presented that Reilly had never truly been confronted with.

Larry,

Just to do a little follow up on Mr. Reilly’s interview we need to have someone contact the NY State Police and see if he actually filed some sort of complaint like he says he did about the “violent e-mails” he says he received. Stuff like that is public record.

Great interview, you were well prepared. It’s pretty obvious Mr. Reilly has his mind made up and will not be supporting MMA no matter what the facts and figures state.

On a related note, fisherman in New York beware, your days on the water are numbered!
