New York State Assemblyman Bob Reilly, identified as the chief opponent to the legalization of mixed martial arts (MMA) in the "Empire State," is coming to Pro MMA Radio this Monday night (Feb.7) at 9 p.m. ET right here on MMAmania.com.
Assemblyman Reilly sat down with host Larry Pepe for the self-admitted longest interview he’s ever done on the subject as the two engaged in a spirited debate of all the issues pertaining to the legalization of MMA in New York.
Safety, the encouragement of violent behavior, MMA’s rules and regulations as well as a host of economic and political issues that may be influencing the issue were all dealt with in a 60-minute debate that saw some surprises and facts presented that Reilly had never truly been confronted with.

If Iundrstand correctly this is a taped session, so there wont be any live calls . Kind of a good thing because we dont need any idiots calling and making jackass’’s of themselves .

I really don’t know why people keep giving him airtime. Obviously he is not going to change his opinion, all you guys are doing is giving him more exposure and another chance to spread his BS.
The people of his district obviously don’t have a problem with his views or else he would not keep getting elected, so what exactly is is giving him airtime going to accomplish? He is going to spin everything you present to him and talk about how they don’t need this violence in NY(nanny state). You have to understand he is a liberal, and they are all about control.

is the only reason pussy liberals give a shit about mma. to hell with al the statist that deny liberty. to hell with this guy. new york is going to have a monster deficit this year because they are taxing the rich our of their state and overregulating everything else.
the ufc should start holding more fights in dallas inside their metrodome. the biggest venue and no state taxes. screw this liberal pusy.
