Turns out the Brian Stann vs. Wanderlei Silva bout that just became official for UFC 130 isn't so official after all. According to MMAFighting.com, the fight has not been signed for the May 28 card because "The Axe Murderer" told the company he is not healthy enough to compete over the Memorial Day Weekend.

Especially on Memorial Day weekend. He knows everyone loves Stann. He has publicly said he doesn’t want to fight Stann for this very reason. Now UFC wants him to fight the ex-Marine on freaking Memorial Day?! Like I said, Wand wants no part of this.

You cant come out and say you dont want to fight a guy, then say Im hurt that weekend when your told to sign the contract. Its like telling your boss its your birthday tonight and then calling in sick the next morning. Wand shows fear for the first time in his career.
