"Open-to-the-public Fan Experience at New York’s Roseland Ballroom (239 W. 52nd Street just West of Broadway, NYC) from 4-6 p.m. ET (Doors open at 3:30), hosted by Scott Ferrall with special guest deejay, DJ Clue. All eight tournament entrants -- Fedor, STRIKEFORCE Heavyweight World Champion Alistair Overeem, former heavyweight champions Antonio "Big Foot'' Silva and Andrei Arlovski, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist Fabricio Werdum, hard-hitting Brett Rogers, talented Josh Barnett and Russian star Sergei Kharitonov will participate. Fans in attendance on Tuesday win free tickets, get autographs, photos, watch fighters work out and much more."

The Feb. 8 event kicks off the promotion's fight week in anticipation of the "Fedor vs. Silva" Showtime event on Feb. 12 from the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ.

Strikeforce: "Fedor vs. Silva" will kick off the promotion's upcoming World Grand Prix Heavyweight Tournament, featuring a main event between former PRIDE Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko and former Elite XC Heavyweight Champion Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva.

Also trying to advance to the tournament semifinals will be former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski when he throws hands with hard-hitting Russian striker Sergei Kharitonov.

In tournament reserve bouts, up-and-coming division prospects Shane Del Rosario and Lavar Johnson will sling leather while Valentijn Overeem makes his Strikeforce debut against the striking prowess of Ray Sefo.
