Riki Fukuda: another victim of fixed decisions?

Some things can be swept under the rug, especially when it's not a very big pile of dust. However, I'm afraid the dirt that the judges pushed on their scorecards was a bit much for my rug. How do you explain this one? The fact that there is no reprieve for judges in their shady decisions is astounding. This isn't the world cup, but I'm calling foul in the sense that something really needs to be done.

At least the boo's and Dana's tweet can send Riki back to his country with some honor, but after all the dust settles it'll just be another red mark on his record that will be used in a later pre-fight analysis. A red mark that really shouldn't be there. The way things are shaping, it's Deja vu with Chan Sung and Nam Pham. What message does this send to asian fighters that yearn to shake their inferior reputation in the octagon? Are they just not allowed a decision, or do they have to have Akiyama in their name to be able to lose their way to the belt?

Perhaps you can justify this with, "Don't let it go to the judges!" or "Decision fights are boring anyway!"

My response to the latter is that you should watch Leonard Garcia and Jung Chan Sung, just so you can stop talking with your eyes closed.

What does Mania think? Should there be reprieve for fixed judging, or do you think MMA judging should be ran by the mob as in boxing?
