Longtime UFC employee Marcus Davis has found a new home.

"The Irish Hand Grenade" has landed on the roster of Canadian mixed martial arts promotion Maximum Fighting Championship. Company President Mark Pavelich made the announcement during the MFC 28: "Supremacy" broadcast last night (Feb. 25).

Davis, a veteran of 15 fights inside the Octagon, was released by the organization after losing four of five fights culminating in a brutal knockout loss to Jeremy Stephens in his 155-pound debut.

At 37 years of age, speculation ran rampant that the former pro boxer would finally call it quits after a near 20 year career in combat sports. However, Davis maintained his desire to continue competing with a renewed vigor in his new weight class.

Now he has a place to do it.

Can The Ultimate Fighter vet resurrect his once great career and make his way back to the world's largest fight promotion? Stay tuned.
