Time for a Work Out

Hey I know lately you guys and gals have been discussing work outs and diets to cut down on the extra lbs. I've read a lot of it and i could just easily google work outs but I'd rather take work out advice from people who do it and know it actually works. Some of the stuff I've been doing is work with dumb bells, crunches, push ups mostly the basics. I'm starting the water only diet, no soda or things of that nature.

The hardest thing for me is the whole eating thing. Eating healthy for one is expensive and a high school kid doesn't have that kinda money, and its hard trying to eat right when you're always on the go. From school to work then home its kind of hard finding time to eat right and like most people I usually hit up the dollar menu. With spring break, prom and summer coming up that's enough motivation for me to get back in shape. Right now I'm around 182 lbs and I'm around the 5 ft 8 in range so yea i'm out of shape.

I know this is a great site where we help each other out and there's a lot of knowledgeable posters here and i was just hoping you guys could help me out. I've been told I have a stocky frame I just gotta turn that fat into muscle and maybe that will be true but i doubt it is. I'm not an expert on body frames so Hopefully you guys can give me some feed back on what i need to do to get in the groove of working out and mostly eating right.
