A lightweight clash is coming this spring as Nik Lentz has been booked to square off against Waylon Lowe at UFC Fight Night 24 on March 26 from the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington.

MMADieHards.com brought word of the pending match-up earlier today.

You may or may not remember Lentz from his UFC 118 fight against Andre Winner on the Spike prelims special that sent viewers away in droves. His gameplan was a successful one but didn't endear him to many mixed martial arts fans.

A controversial decision win over Tyson Griffin in his next bout didn't exactly help matters.

That said, "The Carny" hasn't lost in 13 consecutive fights dating back to March 2007. Can he make it to 14?

Waylon Lowe is another outstanding fighter that a lot of fans are familiar with for a low point in his career. At UFC 114 the Tennessean was knocked out in spectacular fashion by Melvin Guillard with a perfectly placed knee to the body.

Ouch.

That fight notwithstanding, the American Top Team product has won eight of his last nine including two straight. He just may be ready for another jump up in competition with another victory. Can he get there?

Stay tuned.

UFC Fight Night 24 is set for March 26 at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington, and will feature a main event of "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Tito Ortiz attempting to remain relevant against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

In other action, Dan Hardy will throw leather against Anthony Johnson while Nam Phan will get his shot at revenge in his rematch against Leonard Garcia.

As always, stay tuned to MMAMania.com for any updates as they become available.
