The UFC 126 pay-per-view took in a gate of $3,605,725 on Feb. 5 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to official figures from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) released earlier today.
The final attendance of 10,893 was a result of 9,667 tickets sold and 1,226 comped tickets.
A mere 18 tickets remained unsold.
In addition, 2,289 tickets were sold to the closed circuit viewing party at the Mandalay Bay for a total of $45,100.
"Silva vs. Belfort" featured a main event of Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva defending his crown against fellow Brazilian Vitor Belfort in what resulted in one of the most impressive knockout finishes in recent memory (apparently thanks to Steven Seagal).
Also on the card, light heavyweight wrecking machine Jon "Bones" Jones earned himself a title shot against division champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua by rag-dolling Ryan Bader in one of the co-featured fights of the evening.
The UFC dished out a whopping $1.305 million in fighter salaries for the live event and another $300,000 in additional bonus money to the four participants who delivered outstanding performances.
In case you missed the show live and have been living under a rock since then, here's a nice little video highlight package of the event.
