U mad? Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker responds to Dana White's Twitter blitzkrieg following 'Fedor vs Silva'
And the king of San Jose (via MMA Hour) is happy to have picked up another viewer for his Feb. 12 Showtime broadcast:
"At least the guy's watching, right? He's watching Strikeforce. As long as he wants to keep watching Strikeforce that's a good thing. I respect Dana and what he's done. Their success is great and our success is great, too."
Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker won't join the UFC President's mud-slinging contest despite suffering a mighty blow to his promotion's 2011 heavyweight grand prix tournament after famed International fighting sensation Fedor Emelianenko got turned inside out by "Bigfoot" Silva in the main event of their East Rutherford card last Saturday night (Feb. 12). White blasted fans of "The Last Emperor" along with the gang at M-1 Global and beyond. But is Coker taking the high road because that's how he conducts his business? Or because he knows to some extent that Dana is right? What side are you on Maniacs? See a portion of White's Twitter rant after the jump.

GSP was at the Strikeforce show. No sense in having a brand war. Enjoy the show. Dana, coker, guys like GSP and vitor clearly just love the sport. They all watch other stuff. I’m sure Dana watches hdnet for sengoku and k1 when he gets a chance. Or I’m sure he will look up fights if he hears their good. And I guarantee he will watch guys who used to be in the ufc. Like I am sure he watched arlovski

Bigger Zino….its cool man…you wanna bash the greatest and classiest fighter of all time, in his decline and old age, then go for it!
Props to bigfoot, sergie and werdume….I been supporting them bigtime on this site since around 2007 and I used to get flamed for it, now everyone is on there nuts! i love it!

You forgot Semtex

"AS is definitely number one. He doesn’t lose and has shown that he will find a way to sub the best wrestlers."
Jay and I never expected to see him admit this.
nope, still just you.
and me when he fights Diaz. ;)
Fedor is a once in a generation fighter and should be celebrated for his glorious career, not condemned and ridiculed for losing the one fight we will all lose...the fight with Father Time.
have to appreciate semtex one of the most high level martial artists when it comes to striking.
competing in mma. he handed out 2 serious beatings before being held down and not hurt for a second by a wrestler.
I am who i is.
I guess you have to respect Mark Hunt too?
This is MMA. Guys that are one dimensional get no respect.

I don't respect MMA fighters for one skill

Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
so u don't respect brock then?
cause there is just noway he subs a good bjj guy or outstrikes a good striker. you can win on being one-dimensional for sure.

His one skill will win a LOT of MMA fights that stand up fighters can't win.
But I like Brock because of his personality. Not because of his skills.

very one dimensional
and we know what to expect from him, to stand and bang
I'm not insane. My mother had me tested.
remember these words:
the evolution of Hardy is far from done….he will elevate his game tremendously!
he is a very hard worker and smart guy who is driven to become good!
hardy will end up being a really good fighter when its all said and done
i dont doubt that for a second
i think getting knocked out will really humble the guy

I don't see it.
He’ll never stop good wrestlers from holding him down. Too late to learn wrestling (WW is wrestlers haven).
Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
unlike most brits....he trains in america to improve that!
jury is still out on him….we shall see

He’ll never be good enough to stop a Fitch TD. Fitch will always have 25 years experience on him.
Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
yeah, thats true....but he could certainly take fitchs head off before fitch gets the takedown!
on paper, of course you got to give fitch the edge tho!
That's what I thought

If you can't keep your composure in a fight then you're never going to get anywhere, you can't lose your cool if you're going to ever be a champion
And MMAsts have to be held to a higher standard than footballers or hockey players because unlike those sports MMA is not mainstream and is still banned in many countries and states. It may not be fair but all MMAsts have to be more careful about how they behave than other sportsmen because the media and the public expect them to be a bunch of thugs, so when someone proves them to be right like Daley did then it further damages the reputation of the sport.

hahahaha NOg is one of the biggest legends in the history of the sport..
Bisping is a middleweight who has fought for 4 years in the UFC and has only lost to former UFC LHW champions….will Bisping win the title, doubtful, but he is a tough fight for just about anyone he will ever face!
You thought he looked good against Tim
You said he’d be champion of the UFC because he will crush guys like Mir.
You said Bisping is the next best thing. How did that pan out?
Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
he looked fantastic against TIM!!!
That was Vintage NOG!!! thats how he became a legend…getting beatdown until finding a way to win the fight….thats what has always made him so special!
But he was slower than Tim
And Tim almost took his head off twice.

Just look at the skills he has. He fought Rash and he had a hard time keeping him down. It was a really close fight and it was split between many viewers on who they thought actually won.

Except Bis was getting beat by Kang
And only beat Kang because he gassed after the first (as usual).
Kang isn’t even a wrestler, outwrestling him doesn’t mean he could do it to Marq (who has much better GG than Kang).

Doesn't have to keep him down.
He can outstrike him.
Just because Bis is faster on the feet doesn’t mean he would win in the standup. I personally would give one shot from Marq the same points as 10 from Bis. Pitter-Patter is not a winning strategy to me.
Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
Your kiding me if...
you think Nate can out strike Bis. Bis has better foot work and knows how to judge distance better than Nate. Really but that one shot has to connect. My boy Nick Diaz isn’t gonna knock you out w/ one, but he’s definitely will put a beating on you.

Bisping MIGHT be able to survive the three rounds and get the judges decision
But Marq has a lot more ways to win that fight,

Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.

He's better at.
Power in his punches.
Submissions.
Wrestling.
Mixing up grappling with striking.
Bisping is ONLY faster on his feet. He has no power.
Marq could win by sub, KO or decision. Bisping can ONLY win by decision. Therefore Marq has more ways to win this fight.
Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
Bisping tkd is good enough to keep on the feet. Bisping mixes it up more with the strikes and is faster. Nate has power, his wrestling isn’t enough and Bisping is also pretty good on the ground.
I opened my big mouth infront of Two_Words so he pimp-slapped it shut! That’s the last time I challenge his MMA knowledge. Oh yeah, and I like dudes

but i cant see him keeping bis down or subbing him and marq will choke anyway!

What?
Better
Submissions not at all
Wrestling i give you that. But not better overall grappling.
Yeah he has one shot knock POWER but you have to land first. Having power does not equate being better in the standup. Come on you should know better than this. SMH.

If its a 3 rd fight, like against Marquart, i think Chael wins that as well
I'm not insane. My mother had me tested.
I know what he did to Anderson.
But didn’t Chael get out grappled and slammed on the floor by Maia? I’m no way deminishing what Chael did or his skills but just look at the scenarios. He looked like 2 completely diff fighters fighting against Ander and Maia.
As for Nate, he had many avenues to get back up to his feet. I guess he hadn’t been training w/ Rash to learn how to
wall walk.

Please don’t try to make an argument for Bisping with what other fighters did to Nate.
Bisping is not Chael (not even close).
Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
I’m not comparing Chael’s wrestling to Bis.
I’m making a point that Bis has shown really good grappling skills, for not having a background in wrestling. Nate is not gonna win that fight and is no way near being a better fighter than Bis.
So throw out your bogus argument. It’s crazy that one knock out from Hendo makes Bis seem like a chump.

I didn't mention the fight with Hendo
I showed you the skills that Marq has better than Bis.
Yet you still say Bis is more talented. LOL
He has faster feet, that is all. His standup isn’t as good, his GG is lightyears behind Marq. So what is it again that Bis does better than anyone in the top 10?
Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
Yeah i showed you Marq doesn’t posses those skills being compared to Bis.
His stand up is good, what are you blind?

Knocked out a ranked Maia
Which is 10 times more than Bisping will ever do with his stand up “skills”.

Regardless
Maia could fly into Bisping and get punched the same way, and he wouldn’t have even been knocked off balance. That is how weak Mike is.

But tell me another good stand up fighter that punches while running backwards everytime. Or punches with their head leaning away from the punches. He has horrible stand up with no power. He can only win due to decision, he can’t stop people with his stand up, that is a sign of bad stand up.

For combat sports, being "old" is relative. Your mid-30's is considered past your prime unless you are Randy Couture. Why do you think he is so celebrated?

IMO, he had the least amount of easy fights compared to anyone in the UFC.
"I never post my opinions on here. I bring facts that are official as can be." <-- How Maniacs all feel about their posts.
For times like these I have the winning percentages of both fighters opponents.(Draws and NCs thrown out for laziness)(Duplicate opponents only counted once.)
Randy’s Opponents = 68.10%
Fedor’s Opponents = 64.80%
Makes Cain look awesome in his 9 fights because his opponents are 74.4%
excellent stats
"I never post my opinions on here. I bring facts that are official as can be." <-- How Maniacs all feel about their posts.
Stats mean very little. I would take a prime CC over a prime Tim Sylvia. I would take a prime Randy over a prime Brock. Its all about skill sets and styles making fights (cliched but true).

good call Jimbobb
I made a similar case a while back. It’s still relevant I believe:
As MMA fans I think we sometimes get caught up in the association of a level of talent based on emotions or a name-recognition. Fighters undeserved frequently get reps and hype from fan due to one or two moments (Gonzaga head-kick to CroCop anyone?). That rep sticks (good or bad) when we try to debate this elusive concept of who’s best…especially the p4p argument.
Really the only way to settle it is for these guys to fight each other, but even then that will just tell us who was better at that point in time.
Just for grins I took a look at the weighted average winning percentages for Fedor and Brock’s opponents. Nothing super scientific, just for curiosity’s sake. Fedor’s opponents sport a 56% win rate, while Brock’s is 63%. This doesn’t take into account of how good someone was when they faced these two, though as Brock proved you can lose and learn and then beat the same guy.
Again, not saying this makes a case for or against either of them, but it is interesting to view their opponents’ body of work when chasing the dream of determining which of the HWs is best.

What it does show that is amazing the quality of opponents Brock is facing so early in his career
you can hate the guy but C’mon you have to give credit to the man for facing higher quality opponents fight after fight win lose are draw and thats what it’s about. It would be interesting to see what guys like Wandy and GSP have faced as well.

im curious in comparing those stats for Gsp and Andy
doesnt show who would beat the other, just a cool stat to show
I'm not insane. My mother had me tested.
The stats would be a lot different if you looked at the records when they fought but that would be a ton of extra work. If you add in draws and NCs winning percent does go down but in all cases that I looked at if you take into account duplicate opponents winning percent goes way up. An example would be anyone who faces Matt Hughes or GSP multiple times like BJ. Those guys have 85% or higher win percentages.
Interesting
To say the least.

I don’t have either of those I only did a few to point out to Roberto that Shane Del Rosario has fought no one good and his perfect record is filled with terrible fighters.
Brock Opponents 71%
Del Rosario – 59%
Cain – 74.4%
Randy – 68.1%
Fedor – 64.8%
At least nobody is below 50% because that would just be sad.
Randy really didn’t have an easy road his 3rd fight ever was against an undefeated(4-0) Vitor.
Thats pretty amazing on Brocks part

And there you go. So by that equation BJ can def hand GSP some losses, right? D'oh!!!! As JB and I agreed to - stats mean nothing.

Just goes to show that BJ may have losses on his record but the great majority of them have come from extremely high level of competition, Hughes(45-8), Edgar(13-1) and GSP.

john i honestly don’t understand the argument for wear and tear, brock lesnar not only had a grind in college as a wrestler/football player, he came out of college and did the 365 day a year grind in WWE, then came to MMA and did well. he’s old as well.
consider frank mir’s nasty injury he’s up there in age, randy couture wrestled on an olympic level while competing at the absolute highest level in MMA and at 4 weight classes and is 14 years older than your boy yet he is still fighting top guys and WINNING, hendo was an olympic wrestler and he’s doing rather well at 40 years old,
his wear and tear is no greater than anyone else’s in the sport the heavyweight division just now has guys who can equal his speed and atheleticism while being bigger and stronger with equal skill..
your argument just comes from straight up nuthuggery

Barnett's awesome
He’s one of the best grapplers in the division and has KO power. Shame that he’s an arrogant tosser and a known drug cheat, otherwise he could have gone down as one of the all-time great champions. Instead he was stripped of the UFC HW title and missed out on the chance to fight Fedor.

Lets just hope he gets his shit together and doesn’t fail another drugs test or take Rogers and Sergei lightly. He has a good chance at winning this whole tournament if he stays clean and trains properly.

fedor hasnt opened his mouth, so I dont see how you can accuse him of complaining
my point, is I dont think its fair to completely bash the maN CAUSE HE LOST TO A GOOD FIGHTER WHO OUTWEIGHED HIM BY 60LBS….
iF eDGAR, GSP, Anderson, Shogun fight good fighters who outweigh them by 60lbs, would you honestly be surprised to see them lose?
we are just spoiled by fedors greatness!
I was saying you are complaining about size now that Fedor is over the hill.

im not complaining at all! Much props to bigfoot...fedor losing 2 fights now, doesnt tarnish his historic legacy at all in my eyes!
i give much props to bigfoot for the win…..but a lot of factors go into the outcomes of fights, I like to have them all out in the open and look at fights from every angle!
Fedor had a shitty gameplan. He thre the same damn power punches over and over. He even tried the same to start the second and big foot timed it and put him on his ass. He lost because he was out classed that night PERIOD

Aight let me tell you how that'd go down
You’d take my lunch the first day. I’d let you. Then the next day I’d roll with all my big friends bc I was a kid in hs who was cool with everyone and was always owed a lot of favors. Then we would all jump the shit out of you and beat you within an inch of your life. Then every day after that you’d be super nice to me and eventually I’d get you doing favors for me too and maybe, just maybe you wouldn’t be the bitch you are today.
Thats how thatd go down. You dont gotta be big, you just gotta be cool. Apparently you got too big too fast and didnt grow your brain so you dont know that. Good luck with your eventual reality checks
And I know what you’re gonna say cause you are that stupid and predictable. You’re gonna say “nah, then the day after that I’d beat your ass when you are alone”. Fair. But if that was your style I’d start rolling around with my lax stick. That way next time I got you alone I’d beat you to death with it and claim self defense. With your reputation the prosecutor would drop the case immediately. Your bullshit works until you run into a real mother fucker. It doesn’t take size to get real on a bitch

Nail on the head (demographics)
what happens when said demographic (not naming any names) outgrows the antics?
What DW does is calculated, but the UFC wil hit a ceiling rather quickly with continuing antics from its public voice. Can you imagine DW making these cracks in Japan or China? Hell, anywhere in the Far East or Mid East? It is so against their culture to be so bombastic, there is little wonder that Lorenzo stepped up to handle forreign negotiations.
Fedor is a once in a generation fighter and should be celebrated for his glorious career, not condemned and ridiculed for losing the one fight we will all lose...the fight with Father Time.
agreed
Did you see the weigh-ins for the SF event last week. It was embarrassing to say the least. Less than 100 people there, and they had all of the HW fighters there to support the event.
The UFC is light years ahead because of the promotion aspect of things. Dana is a big part of that. Love Dana or hate him, the UFC is a huge force, and has helped MMA substantially in the last decade.
That will all change with time.

Bit of both
Great way for him to communicate with thousands of MMA fans and to promote his fighters and events but he has to realise that you have to be careful what you say on Twitter as his account is in the public eye, many celebrities have gotten into trouble for saying stupid things on their Twitter in the heat of the moment and Dana has to be careful not to fall into the same trap.

SF really needs to find a good marketing and PR firm and get things going. Their production of their events are always crappy, and they still look like an amateur outfit, although they are trying to put on the best fights they can, and doing a good job as of late.

The media got hold of the story though
Hundreds of thousands of people have watched that clip on youtube and one of these ESPN reporters confronted Dana on the topic during an in-depth programme about it. If journalists and anti-MMA lobbyists do their research then it’ll be an easy clip to find and they’ll have a field day with it. He also got into trouble with gay and lesbian organisations for what he said. It doesn’t matter who Loretta Hunt is, the language that Dana used was unacceptable and made him and the UFC look bad.

That’s what I meant.
Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
Maybe
But at the end of the day, people are going to love or hate MMA and the UFC, based on the product that is pt out there. If anyone is that queasy about a sport, because of something a promoter said, they aren’t going to be thrilled about dudes trying to kill each other in a cage.
"Remember men, we are all winners in the eyes of Christ...except for the guy still bleeding on the canvass"
It presents a negative image though
He’s playing up to the stereotypes of “cage fighting” by behaving that way. If he truly wants to bring the sport to new countries and cultures and convince uneasy politicians that MMA is a legitimate and safe sport and not a violent sideshow then he has to act professional. Ranting at an MMA reporter or trolling twitter is not the way to grow the sport and like I said it doesn’t take much time for anyone doing their research on Dana to find these quotes. If Bob Reilly wants to further delay MMA being legalised in NY all he has to do is watch Dana’s youtube videos and look at his twitter and use that to slander his name and his company.

You’re right. That Dana/Loretta video didn’t have any effect.
Except when I showed up to sign my Clear Channel contract to host an FM Radio show on Saturday late nights in New York City talking MMA — only to have the Vice President of Business Development tell me they’ve decided to go in a different direction after that video made the media rounds and “presented an image not consistent with the goals and direction of our brand — or the sponsors who support us.”
Thanks D-unit.

Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
But it does hurt the bottom line in this scenario because if I bring an MMA radio show to the New York market and I’m lucky enough to make it successful, it too has a trickle down effect and can bring more fans to events in this area, more sponsors to fighters, etc.
It is not enough to succeed. Others must fail.

I wasn't taking any of this into consideration when I made that post.
I was only speaking in direct terms. I don’t think people stopped buying his shirts or PPV’s because of the words he had with Loretta. But there was probably other small shit-storms that came from it (like the one you mention).
It may have stunted the growth of the UFC, but it obviously didn’t stop the PPV numbers from growing as they have since the incident.
Strikerdave-are you bitchin' out of another sig bet that you lost? Please see sittingbull.
I agree, probably didn’t stop anything, but maybe the drive to legalize MMA in New York would be farther along, I don’t know. We’ll never know I suppose.

It’s just a bummer that Dana has the loudest voice in MMA and this is what he uses it for. Makes everyone look bad. It would be cool if he took a page out of Coker’s book. Love him or hate him Coker is always professional. Of course Coker would switch places with White, what MMA promoter wouldn’t? Would that mean Coker would walk around being a jerK? The lack of security at the April event was pretty bad. But for a company that was regionally based a couple of years ago they have been doing a pretty good job building their brand. They aren’t perfect, but they’ve done a lot better then most of the other promotions that have fallen apart. They probably will never have the roster UFC does but they put on some exciting fights. It’s just refreshing to see a guy like Coker. Dana does a ton for MMA, I just think he could be a bit more professional about it. I realize this is business, but at the end of the day it’s all MMA. when Ali retired, fans of his knew his time was up. The man was showing signs of his illness, and his fans were sayin “damn ali doesnt look right, there really must be something wrong with the guy”

Fedor looked real sloppy in that first round. Doesn’t seem like the calculated machine that backed up Mirko in 2005, or the killer that was picking his shots against Minotauro. Hw was throing with reckless abandon.
Anderson is 35 but he does not consistently fight guys that outweigh him by 30+lbs on average. Bigfoot had 50 +lbs on Fedor and has black belts across 3 different martial arts.

No need for brand war
The UFC needs Strikeforce. They can bring all the sideshow fights that attract casual fans to MMA while the UFC takes the major league route. Plus its a great place for developing talent. And besides that womens MMA needs a home outside of Bellator.
The UFC can’t sign Hershal Walker, Gina Carano, a green Daniel Cromier, Lyle Beerbhom, King Mo, and so on. Dana is being short sighted
You really think the UFC needs strikeforce?

we, the fans need strikeforce
but the UFC, I don’t think so.

Jake Shields… one example

good post.
Ying needs Yang.
It’s about perspective. Otherwise it would be taco bell for every meal.

While we're on the subject of Strikeforce, i promise to never say anything bad about Goldie again.....
Is it just me, or was the commentator (I don’t even remember his name, but the guy sitting next to Shamrock) the most annoying fucker in the world??? What a fuckin dipshit that guy is. What really annoyed me was when he was referring to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as BJJ (actually spelling out Bee-Jay-Jay.) I don’t know why, but that annoyed the living shit out of me. Between him and fuckin Frank Shamrock, Goldie and Rogan are allstars.

the very worst was the undercard on HdNet
Bas and the Voice! What a crazy fucked up combination
I'm not insane. My mother had me tested.
I don't know newfie.......
Shamrock and that Strikeforce jackass are pretty fucking bad………Bas doesn’t bother me nearly as much……he’s much better than shamrock. In terms of the other guy, is it the same guy that Bas hosts that studio show with on HDNet?

no thats Kenny someone
the voice is a large bald dude who thinks the louder his voice the better

He's proven harda 2 find than a pubic hair @ a Justin beber concert.

I can't hardly watch Inside MMA anymore
All the jumping around and really bad format, and as much as I respect Bas for his fighting days, that guy is like on crack or something. Reminds me of Tommy Boy in the diner with his “little pet”

Gus Johnson
is the one I hate. That guys know nothing about MMA.

Is he the black guy that sits opposite Florian on the ESPN MMA show?

That guy that sits opposite Florian
doesn’t know shit. Kenflo’s tongue must be bleeding by the end of each episode from biting down on it so much. He really restrains himself from going off on the guy.

Coker good for the sport
I really like Coker and StrikeForce. First of all they put some great events together. Secondly they help a lot of fighters. Especially the ones that get cut from the UFC. So far Coker is doing well for our sport. I like the guy. Of course UFC is number one, but StrikeForce will be around for a long time!
Go Coker!
" is like saying I just got a haircut"- Sonnen.
Coker is not the brightest business man though and I could honestly see them going out of business
They invested in Hendo and planned for him to take out their champion Shields at the time and that backfired, now the co-promoted this entire HW tournament believeing Fedor would at least make it to the second round and that has backfired and unless it’s in the contract this is Strikeforce and M1 globals tournament and paying M1 half the profits with no Fedor is insane!!
"I felt like I was getting raped by Freddy Mercury"-Tank on losing to Dan Severn
Yeah Coker puts on a good front

dana is is own enemy when it came to fedor..
fedor is a man who is respectable..i am very sure that dana’s persona is a big reason he never signed with the ufc..(well the whole co promote thing too..lol) see i personally don’t care that he curses his ass off..or that he can act childish..he is doing something right obviously by the success ufc is having..but the saying..it takes money to make money.. fits ufc like a glove…costs sooooo much money to get things main stream..they had it..
now what would have happened if fedor signed to the ufc..lost his first two fights…he would be defending fedor..and putting on more fights for him..to ride his ass into the sunset..
Night and day
these two, although is coker wearing a hoodie? I’d just assumed he went to bed in his suits (j/k)

Very Well Spoken Coker
You don’t have to be a dickhead to run a successful business.
Shogun's knee will explode for the final time when Rashad shoots for the takedown.
agree
dana looks like such a loser in that picture.
Pure Class.
Coker has more class in his left jowl, than Dana has in his entire egotistical, pasty body.
" Its a good thing you look good in that suit, cos that's all you're gonna be doing - wearing a suit."
Class is right

Dana’s job is complete.

DW - shut up
I am stoked that SF is getting as much attention as it is…hey, 5-6 times a year it puts on a damn good show….now DW needs to stick to being a CEO….and stop acting like a punk kid running his mouth…this sport is much better off without the )#(*@ talking…there is a level of respect in MMA that makes it the greatest sport in the world…As a promoter you are no doubt incredible….over the past several years you have had many convinced that UFC fighters are the best….Recently you had a washed up can named Vitor ranked number 1…WOW…how did that happen…oh, he beat the crap out of Terri Martin…and then he defeated an over the hill over achiever named Franklin…and lets not forget about how you used to pimp the Pitbull and the Maniac a couple years back…you had convinced your following that they were the best hws in the world…hahaha…the you had a guy named Koscheck #1…come on…really?…#1?…then there’s Randy Couture who has ten losses to his credit (I believe all but one by KO or submission)…and Chuck Liddell who has been KO’d 4 of his last 5 fights…yet, these guys are the greatest fighters to ever enter the cage…people obviously have not figured out how full of it you are…Your pissing on Fedor after defeat is in poor taste…I understand it from the casual UFC fan that have been spoon-fed 13 seasons of TUF….but as a fan and figurehead of MMA it reeks…why is it that you bash him yet your stable of fighters are not jumping your bandwagon?….his record will never be touched…Fedor was an icon of the sport and gave MMA fans a lot of memorable moments…just like Randy and his 10 losses….and Chuck and his 4 demoralizing KO defeats (I’m a fan of both)….time brings and time takes away…show a little more class….also a couple things with your UFC cards….they are turning into a bunch of fighters scared to lose their jobs…that crap you sold us last weekend was pretty bad…and your meddling (ie, Machida/Rampage) is becoming obvious….and yes I know you’re PPV buys are through the roof…that’s great…but so were WWE’s back in the day…stick to being a CEO…have some respect for ledgends of MMA (not just UFC).
