The Strikeforce: "Rockhold vs. Jardine" fight card is starting to come together with today's addition of Robbie Lawler vs. Adlan Amagov and Muhammed Lawal vs. Lorenz Larkin for Jan. 7, 2012, at "The Joint" from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The five-fight broadcast will air live via Showtime at 10 p.m. ET on fight night.
First up on the docket is the return of Robbie Lawler (18-8). The "Ruthless" one is on a rare two-fight consecutive losing streak for just the second time in his illustrious 10-year career.
He'll be looking to get back into the win column against the dangerous Adlan Amagov (9-1-1), who fight fans may remember from the pounding he put on Anthony Smith at the "Challengers" event just last month.
Which one of these middleweights gets their licks in during what could be the final days of the Strikeforce promotion?
Joining them in "Sin City" is Muhammed Lawal (8-1), who rebounded from his 205-pund title loss to Rafael Cavalcante with a thunderous knockout of jiu-jitsu wizard Roger Gracie back in September.
Looking to dethrone "King Mo" is undefeated prospect Lorenz Larkin (12-0).
"The Monsoon" rained on Nick Rossborough's parade earlier this year at the Strikeforce Challengers 19 event, his fourth win of 2011.
Strikeforce: "Rockhold vs. Jardine" is headlined by yep, you guess it, Luke Rockhold and Keith Jardine, which is worth watching for no other reason than it might see "The Dean of Mean" become middleweight champion despite going 3-6-1 over his last 10 fights.
