Jon Fitch vs. Johny Hendricks is a pivotal welterweight fight slated to take place on the UFC 141: "Lesnar vs. Overeem" pay-per-view (PPV) main card later this evening (Dec. 30, 2011) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fitch, a former number one division contender, is coming off a 10-month layoff, recovering from shoulder surgery, while Hendricks is looking to use the established American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) star as a stepping stone to crack into the 170-pound elite discussion.

As our very own Jesse Holland "predicted" in his UFC 141 preview yesterday (read it here), one wrestler is on the way down and the other -- who happens to be a two-time NCAA Division I champion -- is on the way up in "Sin City" tonight.
