And Kamp is beating Alves.

yeah i think so too
hes just more technical, bettwer takedowns, better tdd… the only way alves wins is if he turns it into a brawl imo, but i think kampmann will be composed. Hell stay on the outside get a takedown a round and win a UD

on the outside.....
where Alves can sit all day and throw faints and brutal ass leg kicks…..sounds like a great game plan for Kamp
I have issued my statement. If Chael wins against Silva, im officially the coolest guy on Mania and have the coolest dvd collection. If he loses.....then I shall leave Mania for good....
I think he'll be able to pop in and out and avoid the damage
Those leg kicks are nasty but alves could be worried about the takedown and hesitate to throw them. Kamp has shown much improved ground game

Rough around the edges, products of their neighborhood.
These guys ain’t dumb, they just talk slang and are fighters. They just are on the edge all the time and it works, try and knock em’
Preach it Dan

maybe slightly more than a little bit rough but they’re not dumb.
they're hardly smart

Smart in what sense of the word?
They are both very highly skilled athletes, both passed high school, both manage their careers and have gotten better. Sure they ain’t scholars or university grads but to call them dumb or uneducated is just ignorant

No to call the uneducated is what they are
Especially Nick
They are both excellent fighters no doubt and have done great managing their career. If Nick was even a little smart though he would know showing up for a press conference matters, thats neither here no there tho.
Its surprising they passed high school, listening to them talk. Nick cant hold a coherent conversation. Im talking Smart in the sense of intellectual capacity, something the Diaz’s bros absolutely lack.

I’m not paying 60 bucks to see a spelling bee. If you think they are stupid good for you.
Hahaha I agree with Kale that they aren't the brightest bunch
but that was fucking funny dude.
But talk to Kale like that again……..AND GET SWUNG ON BRAH

You can be a genius and talk like a retard, stop basing their knowledge on their verbal intellect. Both these fighters are smart, especially Nick.

Especially not Nick
A smart man realizes the potential revenue to me made off fighting GSP. Not showing up for the presser, thus nixing the fight defines Nicks stupidity.
Now you can come back with it all worked out in the end, but that is all because GSP was injured twice, not because Nick is smart
Hes an excellent fighter but a moron

and I don't want to hear the "I'm afraid of public speaking" bs either
As stated above, smart is understanding what your expectations are as a fighter as well as the ramifications of not living up to them. They can train, fight, and eat right but if they cannot understand the expectations of being a pro fighter, which Nick clearly has shown he hasn’t, then they are dumb as a fence post when it comes to the business end.
I’ve met some smart thugs that have done well in their respective fields as well, and perhaps this is where the Diaz clan belong. Not as professionals, but as the thugs they believe they are.

Nick made a mill without the help of ZUFFA and you think he isn’t smart when it comes down to the business? He makes plenty of money, his current contract with the UFC ensures that he makes big money, regardless of who he fights. He has always been smart and managed business well, his SF contract was ridiculous for who he was fighting. There’s guys who are more skilled than Nick and earning pea nuts compared to him so cut the BS, he makes money. He’s part of a successful gym, holds classes there. Don’t question Nicks intelligence when you are stuck in some dead end job earning pea nuts, look at yourself kid. Competes in triathlons at the highest level, competed in serious BJJ competitions and you are claiming he’s stupid? The sooner you realize that your the stupid the better, enjoy Nates fight.

Doesn't he still live in Stockton?
I never really see Nick or Nate with anything fancy or expensive. I would think the most fancy things they have are related to doing triathlons. Oh and they also give free lessons to low income kids in Stockton.

Yep
Danago doesn’t get that because he’s made money doesn’t necessarily make him smart

Gems from the genius ....
"I got nothing against the guy, except that he is kind of a piece of shit"
"Back in the day, a Ninja didn’t have his girlfriend sitting in the tree waiting to kill shit."
"So my bottom line is I wanted to get a bunch of this stuff off my chest is … is that … you know … I’m not no chump. I’m not going to just talk shit or whatever. I can’t remember where I was really going with that."
"I don’t know about you guys, but I like my rock stars choking on their own vomit and uh, you know, what’s it matter anyways?"
"He kinda just put his head down and looped some fucking punch out there that smacked me…I was like what the fuck ?"
What verbal intellect?
+1
And that sums up what I was saying
Thank you

the Diaz brothers were doing the same thing…Talking shit about people and thinking they were tough.
Imagine these losers 10-20 years from now?…They will be doing the same shit.
These 2 a punks and will always be punks…regardless of their talent.
To the parents of these 2 clowns: YOU FUCKED UP!

these two losers will be living in nice homes, going to work at the gyms they own and training the next wave of fighters

IDGAF where they will be living or doing
It is all about their image. It’s what they could have been, but the bottom line is if they are content with their lives, then that is all that matters. What you or I think or say is irrelevant. Bottom line is that goons aren’t held in the same esteem as those that conduct themselves professionally.
As far as “the next wave of fighters”, those will be Diaz wannabe’s with huge chips on their shoulders. I’m sure that serious fighters will move onto a more respective camp.

but I loved all the f*cking bleeps!!!
Should be a good scrap for sure. Can always count on the Diaz Bros to stir some shit up…
This fight is brilliant matchmaking!!
Dana acts disappointed that they would put hands on each other before the fight…it’s a diaz and a redneck nicknamed the cowboy lol. I predict the ref having to save Nate Diaz life this fight.

Roger Huerta is one of a growing number of Zuffa-contracted fighter who feel that there is a disconnection between the company’s success and the way fighters are compensated. Huerta’s disillusionment with the UFC began when he did press tours for his employer in Miami, Houston, Los Angeles, and London and received a $50 per diem for his troubles.
