There's a year-end award for everything these days, huh?
2011 is almost in the books and with that, a look back at the year that was in MMA. Right here on MMAmania.com, we had you Maniacs vote for the best of the best in various categories, such as fight, knockout and submission. Actually, it's still ongoing, so go vote now!
But we forgot one all important category that gets so much play 'round these parts -- the staredown.
As luck would have it, UFC.com took the time to count down the top five staredowns of 2011. That list, along with a poll so you can tell us if you agree, is after the jump.
5. Michael Bisping vs. Jorge Rivera at UFC 127
4. Pat Barry vs. Stefan Struve at UFC on Versus 6
3. Jon Jones vs. Quinton Jackson at UFC 135
2. B.J. Penn vs. Nick Diaz at UFC 137
1. Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort at UFC 126
Agree with the list? Who really deserved number one?
