Joe Rogan and Ron Paul on Tonight Show with Jay Leno (Video)
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) color commentator Joe Rogan was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday night (Dec. 16, 2011) to promote the return of NBC's Fear Factor and show his support for Ron Paul, Republican Party candidate for the 2012 presidential election.

the only reason he was on Leno was because of Fear Factor
Leno couldn’t give a shit about UFC.

it was just all about promoting Fear Factor
but out of courtesy, Leno at least could’ve brought in UFC during the interview.

jay leno is a douche
Shame rogan going on that show.

Ever since he pulled that Conan shit I've been very anti Leno

Ever since he had that fat pig Rush Limbaugh on and let him lie all he wanted,
I have been convinced Leno is a dumb piece of shit.

Yeah, shame on Rogan for doing (likely contractually obligated) promotion on the top late night show on the network which airs his returning show.

Will you buy me dinner first? Otherwise, I’ll have to pass.
Leno is terribly unfunny, and was a part of Conan getting shafted (though, really, the network was far more at fault for first shafting Leno, then trying to back out when things weren’t immediately rosy) but to say shame on somebody for having the nerve to go on a major promotional vehicle for their project is silly. Louis CK is, for my and many others’ money, the funniest guy out there right now. He’s friendly with Conan and did one of the NY shows. He also went on Leno at the start of the last season of his show to promote it. It’s really not that big of a deal.

i know what you are saying. i just cant stand leno i feel like every guest is probably given a long list of things they cant say like ufc
guests are far more relaxed on conan
That I won’t argue. I have a season pass set up on Conan, and he’s clearly the far, far better interviewer and comedian (and the lack of restriction now on TBS has been great for him.) I’m just saying that as much as it probably shouldn’t be the case in a meritocracy, Leno is still the Tonight Show, and as such still a powerful marketing tool. I’d reckon every single NBC show (lord knows their ratings need all the help they can get since CBS, ABC and FOX smash them right now) puts people on Leno.

Wouldn’t that require getting elected? Because, let’s just be real, the Repubs are going to give everyone else a run out before eventually settling begrudgingly on nominating Romney.

Well, that’s the problem for the GOP in regards to who ended up running. They have Romney, who they don’t like, Paul, who they REALLY don’t like, and a bunch of people who are pretty gross on the personal level. They tried really hard to convince some folk who were charismatic, right-thinking and also not prone to comparing legalizing gay marriage as a moral wrong on par with slavery, but it didn’t really work out. So you get left with the choice of putting up somebody that is more centrist than the party wants, or somebody who has no shot of being elected by the general, split-opinion populace.

WAR MONEY!!!!
Let’s face it, politicians are first reliant on money to campaign which then makes them first to answer to the ones with money. Money before people. Then all they have to do is rely on tools and all Repubs have to say is I love Jesus (that gets the middle class and below people hooked) then they promise that giving more rich people more money will create more jobs even though they aren’t creating them now with an abundance of throw away income. That gets them on board. So they basically have the whole gammit of tools. The Dems have to get more crafty and hit individual topics like hugging trees gets hippies of all incomes, they want to tax the wealthy more which gets them many middle class followers but loses the lower percentage of people upper class but coincidentally all the people with money. YUCK! Fuck both democrat and republican, fuck a 2 party system! I like Ron Paul but it would be the same shit as with Obama. I might not agree with some things Obama wants to do but at least he is willing to try and change things up, I am willing to try “Obamacare” because it might work, what we have now certainly doesn’t. That is one thing I cannot take of Republicans, they stick to their guns so tightly and want to help the wealthy so badly that something that has PROVEN in the past not to work (trickle down effect) DOES NOT WORK! Yet they stand and try to say how it will, it won’t. The only jobs that will be created by giving the rich more tax cuts will be who ever is making their yachts because they will now be able to afford another.

agree that the system is what is broken
But in the current system, I am 100% democrat… mostly due to issues such as education, gay marriage, sex education, health care, and school prayer

I am just registered as an indy
Basically the thing I am most right about is gun rights. Gun control is just fucking stupid. But I am with you on Gay Marriage, education, sex ed (actual education not just don’t do it), health care um I am willing to give the liberals a shot at it, and school prayer is fucking dumb. I almost registered as a Dem because the Dems might do some dumb shit but at least they don’t come off as racist biggoted fucks!
