Peanut-butter Oreos and McDonald's drive-thru ... breakfast of champions? We'll find out on Saturday night when Jorge Masvidal tries to steal the 155-pound strap from Gilbert Melendez at the Strikeforce event in San Diego, which "Gamebred" is preparing for in the above Fists of Fortune video. Anyone else like to suck down a Big Mac before getting hit in the gut with a medicine ball? Anyone?

Not a big deal.
When you are exercising that much you can afford to cheat a little more. I bet with his schedule he cant even keep the weight on. Shreds right off.

I had McDonalds before my very first BJJ class...
Then I almost threw it all up in front of John Alessio. He had told me not to expect to get any taps the first day but they paired me with someone who didn’t seem to know much at all. I’m not saying I’m any good but I have learned a lot just by watching MMA the past few years. He let me transition to full mount without any resistance so I knew I had nothing to worry about, but I digress. I was so excited to be putting on this clinic on my first day in front of Alessio that I had gassed myself and had to run outside to clear my stomach of its contents. It was a learning experience, that’s for sure.
DISCLAIMER- I’m bored at work.

I need to make a complete meal plan for the day to gain lean muscle, I'm trying to get bigger and lean out.
I figured its probably all about the diet and lifting more than cardio. Any suggestions?

getting bigger and leaner at the same time isn’t going to happen different objectives, different diet and different workout

Watch fat (eat good fats mono and polyunsaturated from fish, nuts, avacado)
Eat regular protein (in less amount than you might do now) so instead of 3 meals a day, try to eat every 3-5 hours (snack like nuts). Don’t eat too much protein and keep training. Weight train to failure (hypertrophy) which will make your muscles bigger. Muscle fibres will tear and when they repair they will do so in layers creating an overall increase in size.
For weight loss it’s training (cardio vascular should be the focus) to lose more calories than you eat during the day so just go hard and sweat it off. Over time you’ll get lean. Rowing is a good workout because it’s cardiovascular that also helps build muscular endurance and is a full body workout.
Like steady says, if you get lean I don’t think you can expect major bulk (which would be how I would do it). Though you can get fitter and build muscle at the same time. I’d just try to sort out the training program and nutrition and get lean first. Build from there with a great lifestyle routine.

hmm ... great reply fail.
To Octagon Brilliance. You need to figure out how active you are in your lifestyle. Use your BMR as a rough guide to work out a nutrition plan, then if you start lifting big time make sure you get protein as soon as you can after breaking down the muscle (this is not injury) and eat it regularly.
You eat protein regularly though the week even if you lift once every 2 days to repair the muscle constantly. Your body can only do so much at one time and if you eat your days worth of protein in 3 sittings, then most of it just goes straight through your body and the same amount gets used as if you ate a smaller amount.

peanut butter Oreos are AWESOME
totally want some of those. and some McDonald’s. I wish I was able to work out as much as this guy so that food like that wouldn’t make me gain like 10 pounds instantly lol
