The official weigh in event for UFC 138: "Leben vs. Munoz" went down earlier today (Nov. 4, 2011) from the Community Hall in the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England.
In news that should shock no one (except maybe Mike Dolce), Thiago Alves missed his mark for his welterweight scrap against Papy Abedi, coming in one pound heavy at 172.
"The Pitbull" had an extra two hours to make his mark and eventually shed the excess weight.
Alves is a repeat offender, so much so, that UFC President Dana White once threatened to permanently send him to the middleweight division after crushing the scale at UFC 117.
Will this be the straw that breaks the camel's back?
