It's nearly a full day later and Cung Le's face is still a mangled mess after Wanderlei Silva got done abusing it last night (Sat., Nov. 19, 2011) at UFC 139: "Shogun vs. Henderson" in San Jose, California.

Le tweeted the picture along with this message:

"I fought my heart out and I Just want to say thank you for all the support. Here is a picture of my face you wanted to see. I felt great till I got caught. Thanks @ufc fans for the nice messages."

"The Human Highlight Reel" did very well for himself until the finishing sequence, which was as brutally violent as we've seen from "The Axe Murderer" since his knockout win over Keith Jardine all the way back at UFC 84 in May 2008.

Anyone care to guess what's next for Le after this loss? Care to see him back inside the Octagon or no?
