Love this card so far...too bad it was not slated for later in 2012 or else I would have made an international trip.

Why not? But 02/2012 is too early in the year for me. Not enough time to save up $$$.

I just wouldn’t get it, If Shogun wins then he’ll be above Rampage. Why risk having Ramapge beat Shogun and get back in the title picture so easily. I think Ramapge vs. Griffin maybe more likely if Shogun wins

Can’t argue that, i like the match up and i’d take Rampage. I mean the old Rampage would have gotten killed by Jones with his unwillingness to be patient. The Ramapge that joined the UFC has only been truly dumb once and that was with Griffin and nota djusting for the kicks.

This is the best and most complete we have ever seen Rampage IMO.

You think the Rampage that fough chuck would mash the rampage who sticks to his gameplan, beats people up?. Since the Rashad fight he has been very well rounded. He faught Jones and did well compared to what everyone seem to thought he would do.

Rampage is great now and thats thanks to the wolfslair

Really?

In what way did he do well in that fight? Lasting as long as he did? He did nothing that was all that positive. Jones respected him and patiently dismantled him

But this card looks great (except Okami/Boetch. Thats got snoozer written all over it). Getting more and more excited to see Frankie fight… But Bendo is my boy. Always route for him.

by G Squat on Nov 16, 2011 3:21 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

Should be a hell of a fight

I think I’ll be rooting for Bendo as well but can’t help but root for underdogs (Edgar is the UD) in this fight in my eyes. The size and strength of Bendo will be a problem. He’s much faster and more well rounded than Maynard IMO. There really won’t be any loser in that fight. If Edgar loses he drops to 45 and gets Aldo. If Bendo loses he’s still one of the most exciting lw

Weak card at best…UFC needs to calm down with the PPVs…if there are more than 2 cards a month one should be free…

by Robert(1) on Nov 16, 2011 3:11 PM EST via mobile reply actions

Card is solid, Akiyama/Shields is gonna be awesome and Pettis/Luazon will be a great fight as well.

I read somewhere a while back that the UFC is planning 32 cards in 20012 and only like 13 of them are going to be PPV

"It is himself that a coward abandons first, after that all other betrayals come easily."

by doonerthesooner on Nov 16, 2011 3:14 PM EST up reply actions

We’ll see if that actually turns out to be true. There was 16 PPV’s this year and through the end of February they already have 3 scheduled for 2012 so if they stick to the 13 PPV’s a year that would only give them 1 a month for the rest of the year which I dont see happening.

by bigdmmafan on Nov 16, 2011 3:25 PM EST up reply actions

Weak Card?

haha is that a joke? Your calling this a weak card? This is an amazing card, if this card doesn’t satisfy you then nothing will. When you got fighters like Kongo and Gomi on the undercard it says enough about how strong the card is that they can’t even make it to the main card.

by sz87 on Nov 28, 2011 10:11 AM EST up reply actions

UFC will be having a free Fight Night card on FX in January, there will be plenty of free fights still so it should’t be a problem to pay for this one.

I took a few minutes to write this tonite..inspired by middle easy article....enjoy

With the legalization of MMA in NY right around the corner, the MMA community is on its toes for UFC 146 at legendary Madison Square Garden. The event will surely be a legendary and historic day for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the state of New York, and fans world wide.
The event will showcase brazilian neck smoocher Thiago Silva going head to head with New Yorks own……….state assemblyman Bob Reilly.

UFC president Dana White confirmed this morning “yeah we finaly signed Reilly, against his will ofcourse”. When asked why he decided to put Reilly against Thiago Silva, White, simply responded “Rapin”,what exactly White meant by that is not exactly clear.

Bill Reilly is 0-100 in MMA, losing all of his fights by either brutal knockout or verbal submission…All of his pro fights have been against actor Micheal Cera

It is known that UFC fighter and number 1 contender to the middleweight championship, Chael Sonnen, will be helping Reilly prepare for his showdown at MSG. Chael says "Yes it is true. We got Reilly over here at Team Quest. Me and Matt Lindland are mostly working on some basic things we do here like making fun of him, and mesmerizing him with my greatness like Joe Rogan. Matt also likes to “stinky wrestle” with him. He crys when Matt does the “north south poopsie”.

I was also able to catch up with Thiago Silva today at American Top Team to get a little insight into his game plan for UFC 146, and what he said was shocking to say the least. "Everybody always say no no no Thiago, no you cant dance! Well I show them huh? huh!? I did a lil salsa on Rashoop (It appears that Silva believes Rashad Evans name is “Rashoop”)I come back in 3rd round. Rashoops legs turn jelly when I salsa on he.If I salsa on he whole time id be fighting Jon Jo….well no no rabbit pee pee…anyway when I show up to Manson Square Garven…I tellin you man…I telling you…I going to salsa Bob….I going to spank Bob, I going to lick Bob,…I going to lick steve mazagatti…And I going to point down to his face and say “Mind your own business Bob”.
